Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. Yesterday, the loan deal for Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo ended, so both players are to return to their respective clubs. The Barcelona official Twitter page posted these words with Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo pictures “Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo will not continue at the club as their loan deal has ended. Thank you and good luck”. It sparked a reaction on Twitter with some of the Barcelona fans coming out to say after the talks Laporta and Deco said about keeping, but players just seem to be liars at the very beginning.

It got Barcelona trending on Twitter, and the media team immediately took down the post of Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo farewell post immediately from their page and left Marcus Alonso and Sergio Dest at the Barcelona page. It was clear yesterday that Barcelona indeed wants to keep Joao permanently at the club next season without a doubt. The Joao's are highly appreciated by President Laporta, and there are reports that Laporta has been in touch with their agent as internal talks are already taking place with Atletico Madrid and Manchester City.

The Barcelona media team just made an unnecessary fuss on Twitter yesterday with that post. This should have been handled well because now it makes the club seem like a joke. There shouldn't have been a post about the Joao’s in the first place until it was certain that the club was not able to get their permanent move done because they could still have an option for another loan move until Barcelona came to an agreement with Atletico and Manchester City on a permanent deal.

Now, looking at the two player performances last season, from my opinion on whether Barcelona should sign Joao's on a permanent deal, I would say yes, they deserve the benefit of a doubt. Joao Felix was impressive last season, and although he didn't score more goals, he was a major boost to the front line last season. I remembered after Joao Felix performances against Atletico in the first and last meeting of last season that there is no way Felix will go back to Atletico Madrid, because any chance he had at reaming in the club was over after providing to vital goals in the first and second meeting with Atletico Madrid and to top it all his celebration against Atletico was the giveaway that Joao Felix doesn't want to return back to Atletico.

Joao Cancelo was also impressive last season, and although there was some decision he made in two games on the failed that cost Barcelona the match, I would still say he is worth going for this summer window. Pep Guardiola seems to not have Joao Cancelo in his plans anymore with the recent loan moves the player has gone through in the last two years and once Pep Guardiola does not need you anymore in his squad it is very easy to tell. Manchester City could ask for a high fee, but let's see how it goes in the summer window.

There are other players that have been rumored with a move to Barcelona, and one of those names is Nico Williams. When I heard the rumor, I was like Barca does not need Nico Williams because I was not impressed, but during this Euro competition and Spain last night match Barcelona definitely needs Nico Williams at the club. I can't help but imagine how Barcelona's front attack will be with Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal, we are already getting the preview in the Spain National team and I don't care what Deco has to do Nico must be at Barcelona next season.
