Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. Club football has officially gone on a two-week break from activities as the international duties kick off this week. In my last post, I wrote about how Barcelona needs to secure three points against Alaves going into the international break as it will be crucial to have the upper hand against Real Madrid when the league resumes after two weeks. I just confirmed Barcelona has three mates left in October, which will be against Sevilla, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid.

Now, back to the FC Barcelona matches away from home against Alaves. Hansi Flick executed a perfect job away from home as the Spanish giant beat Alaves three goals to nothing to take all three points from the match. Robert Lewandoski was on fire yesterday as he scored a hat-trick against Alaves and he was close to scoring five goals yesterday but he did not execute the two changes he had, but still, the Polish striker was on fire yesterday and it makes me wonder how was Xavi using Lewandoski last season because the media and Lewandoski performance last season made me believe the Polish can't perform at the highest level anymore in Europe.

Lewandoski was heavily criticized for his performance last season, but now he is performing like the old Lewandoski we all know, the real goal machine in Europe. Hansi Flick has done an incredible job in reviving Lewandoski to his goal-scoring ways again and not just Lewandoski. Hansi Flick has done well in making Raphinha dangerous in the front attack this season. The Brazilian provided two assists yesterday to Lewandoski and could have had a hat-trick assist if Lewandoski was able to finish up the chances he had during the match.

Lewandoski is currently leading the race for the Pichichi trophy as he leads the highest goalscorer table with 10 goals and more still to come for the rest of the season. FC Barcelona are 24 points on the league table and their rivals Real Madrid are three points behind them on the table. Barcelona has won eight games out of their nine Laliga matches and has only lost one match this season. I could not help but wonder that Barcelona would have won all their nine matches if Hansi Flick had not rotated the squad against Osasuna where Barcelona lost four goals to two away from home.

It has been an incredible start for FC Barcelona in the Hansi Flick new era, and I am sure once the players on injury return to the squad, it will offer Hansi Flick more quality for him to choose from going forward in the league. I am looking forward to the three matches coming up for Barcelona after the international break and just hope none of the Barcelona players being called up for international duties don't pick up an injury because it would be bad for Hansi Flick, considering the matches ahead.

It's going to be boring weeks ahead, and I just want it to finish quickly so we can all get back to club football. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
