Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. La Liga just got a whole lot interesting with this Nico Williams saga, with new reports that broke out yesterday. It has been revealed that La Liga gave Athletic Club access to Barcelona's financial statement and audit report after their meeting, which questioned Barcelona's inability to register players. This meeting, which I wrote about a week ago, was about how Athletic Bilbao is making reports on how FC Barcelona is signing and registering players when they are not back to the 1:1 rule, and I remember saying that it is not the business of Athletic Bilbao in how things are run within Barcelona.

This financial report was shared with Nico Williams and his camp, which influenced the decision of the Spanish winger to have doubts about joining Barcelona this summer, which pressured him to sign a renewal with Athletic Bilbao for ten years. These reports have not been confirmed from reliable sources, and although I am still not convinced yet about it, but if it turns out to be true then Barcelona should file a law suit against Laliga and also Athletic Bilbao because it is a breach of the FFP rules and Barcelona must make sure it doesn't slide away.

It is a clear sabotage of Barcelona negotiations with Nico Williams, which cost the winger for pulling out of the deal both parties had as late as June. Laliga President Javier Tebas has proven again how cocky he can be in running the league and how consistent he has been in giving Barcelona a hard time for years now. This man can't be the president anymore in Laliga and needs to be sanctioned out of office because, come to think of it, why is he always making the headlines every time? The EPL, Serie A, and Ligue 1 all have presidents, but not once have I heard their names in controversial matters about the league.

FC Barcelona is yet to make a statement about this situation as the club would be verifying if these rumours are through and plotting to take the next step. It is a bug issue that can't be thrown under the rug because it stops this from happening again in the long run. It is quite a shame that one of the best leagues in Europe has a president who is ready to take a club under the bus and favour other clubs within the league. There will be more information concerning this matter depending on how Barcelona responds if this is true.

Barcelona has been dealing with this injustice for too long, and it needs to be stopped. The finance restrictions and many other things Tebas with Laliga has done to Barcelona has been hash, but the club get back on its feet every time to prove them wrong. It's important to see how the club handles this matter, and I will be sharing updates if any come up this week. So, guys, that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good day.
