"Exciting Euros 2024 Quarter-finals: Germany vs. Spain and Portugal vs. France Previews"

Source

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. The Euros and Copa America are approaching their respective end little by little, and we have seen some incredible moments in both competitions since it kicked off. The quarter-final of the Euros2024 has an interesting match lined up this Friday, which I am not going to miss for anything today. Germany will go head to head against Spain, and Portugal will go head to head against France this Friday. The big games came early, and we are glad it did to give many football fans some thrilled moments before the league begins next month.

The interesting thing about these two matches is that the winner of the 2024 Euros is among those four teams that will be playing tomorrow evening. These four teams have no doubt been impressive in this competition and deserved to win, but in the end, only one team that put in more effort will eventually become champions of Europe. I have not been following Germany, but I know they have been doing incredibly well since the start of the competition. Gundogan, Musiala, Florian Wirtz, and Niclas Füllkrug have been the names buzzing for the German side in the competition.

Niclas Füllkrug doesn't make the headlines, but believe me when I say this that Füllkrug is an incredible player without a doubt. Füllkrug could give Spain defense a lot of trouble because he can make those runs in-between the lines and with the staked quality of midfielders Germany has Füllkrug should be getting a lot of chances to go up front and score goals. Spain, on the other hand, has proven to be deadly in the front attack with the pair of Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal.

It is no surprise that we have seen those two youngsters destroy top defences in this competition from their respective wings and it has become difficult for defenders to pick up when the next attack will come from and how it will be executed. Rudiger sits in defence today and would be a problem but Pedri has already come out in a press conference and said that they don't fear the German defender and will give their all in today's game to reach the next stage of the competition. It is going to be interesting to see how this match turns out after 90 minutes.

Portugal vs. England is another match that will be making the headlines today. This Euros will be Ronaldo's last dance in the competition and I am sure he will want to do everything in his ability to see Portugal make it through to the next round but there are times that even the greatest has to set back and let the team do the job and that was what happened yesterday with Messi and Argentina Vs Ecuador in the Copa America quarter-final. Ronaldo has to be a team player today to see Portugal make it to this stage because France won't make it easy for them today.

France doesn't have good stats with goals in this Euros competition, but they have somehow managed to progress to each round and will try to do the same today. Mbappe has not totally been at his best in this competition, but that could change in today's game. If I am to give a prediction, I am 90 per cent sure France will make it to the next round, but let's see how it goes tonight. One thing I like about this match today is that they won't be played at the same time, which will allow football fans around the world to watch the two games comfortably today.

So guys, that will be all for now. I'm looking forward to the matches, and I hope you don't miss any of it. Thanks once again for stopping by and have a good day.
