Weekly Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: The Coming Release of Conclave Arcana!

I just recently returned to playing Splinterlands and mastering the strategies I used before. I'm also planning to rebuild my deck and card collections to play more seriously and compete in higher leagues. I would have to delay my rebuilding since a new set was announced a week ago. It's called the #ConclaveArcana.

My excitement about with the release of Conclave Arcana

Conclave Arcana is an exciting new set from Splinterlands. It introduces animated card designs never before seen. Summoners now called archons with new bloodline buffs, also a new feature introduced in the Conclave Arcana. There are also new abilities that will change how the game is played. The packs are different and tiered prices that will make it easier for new players to invest in the game. There are packs that only cost $1, the cheapest among all Splinterlands packs. There is also an expensive pack that caters to whales that cost $24 each. This pack has a guaranteed legendary card, making it easier to acquire legendary cards. There are strong promo cards that can be obtained from buying a lot of packs.

Card arts I hope to see

Conclave Arcana cards are beautifully made. The art looks totally brand new and the animated versions of the cards is a first time for Splinterlands. I would hope to see more animations or moving pictures. The lore of each characters could also show some animations to further immerse the users in the world of Splinterlands.

The impact on my personal strategy

Conclave Arcana will start a new meta in Splinterlands. I will have to start learning new strategies that is different from the way I play. The summoners have different buffs given to the monsters while the monsters have new abilities that is very different from the Chaos Legion set. Conclave Arcana is more than a brand new set, it is more like a brand new era for the Splinterlands game. A restart, a new beginning, a resurgence. Conclave Arcana is the new Splinterlands!
