Se le llama orquesta de plectro a las orquestas compuestas por instrumentos que utilicen el plectro. El plectro es la conocida púa, que utilizan las guitarras eléctricas, el tres, el cuatro venezolano y el laúd, por solo poner algunos ejemplos.
