Top 10 anime I've watched in the year 2023

Hello everyone, it's the last day of the year, this may be my last post in this community for the year. Well, I hope everyone is doing fine. And I wanted to greet everyone here that "Complement of the season" and I'm looking forward to next year to grow more.

There are lots of anime I've watched this year. In fact, I've actually lost count of them because as I see one, I watch. In terms of watching anime. I'm a devourer. I can say that. So I could say that I've watched a lot of anime this year. So I wanted to give you guys something good to end the year. I came up to this idea to write my top 10 anime I've watched this year.

Feel free to join the fun, it will be an exciting one.

Before I start, This anime listed are ones I watched this year and ranked by how I enjoyed it, if your best anime is not listed here it maybe because I've not watched it.

And also note that I'm listing them from bottom to top to make it more interesting. I really hope you find it interesting.

Without wasting much time, let's start

10. ZOM 100

Yes, there is a reason why I put this anime in my top 10, I've watched a lot of zombie and horror movies but i've not seen any as funny as this (Not if horror is funny by the way). The plot of this movie was made was so simple and funny. It was very funny to the extent that my laughter was disturbing other people. Normally, I love outbreak movies, they're one of those movies I enjoy the most, with the reaction of the protagonists towards the outbreak on the flow made my admiration for it go up. Too bad it came to an end after the production was stopped.

9. Bleach (Thousand year blood war : Part 2)

We waited so long for this part 2. When the part 1 was released, it left a good impression for the interesting plot and plot twists. It was very interesting. There would be a good day to explain this further. But bleach Thousand year blood war showed us a lot of things. From the Bankai's of the captains to the new powers of Ichigo and all. It also shows the strength of the Squad Zero and the powers they possess. Their fight scene was very interesting and clean. I was intrigued with new baikai that i've been expecting for so long. After finishing each episode, I was like "BANKAI Sakashima Yokoshima Happōfusagari" (Yeah, this one is for Hirako Shinji). I really hope you can hear my voice 😅😅.

One of the reasons I enjoyed bleach (thousand year blood war) was the graphics. The fight scenes were clean and sharp. If you download it in 1080p, you'll even enjoy it more.

8. Moshoku Tensei (Part 2)

Moshhoku Tensei. Taking about one of the greatest adventure movies I've watched. I watched the part 1 of the movie in 2020 but waited a very long time for the part 2. I was so happy the season 2 was released.

The storyline is very interesting. Moshoku was the first Isekai (Part 1) that I watched, so the storyline is superb. This season 2 was also superb. In fact, I finished the whole season in a day.

Like I said, it's one of the greatest adventure movies I've watched, as we see Rudy go on adventures with different people. The fight scenes were interesting. Though there may not be any plot twists, it was like we've known what will happen in the end.

7. One Piece (Wano Arc)

Coming to my favorite anime of all time. Sorry that this anime was placed here, other anime was also interesting. Though this anime is very interesting. I guess waiting for the anime to be released weekly has some effect on it.

There are lots of things I liked about the anime, first was the wano music. I loved the flutes and the musics. Most especially the one played when showing zoro at the beginning of wano arc. I was literarily dancing, and I replayed it again and again till I was tired. Others we're the fight scenes, their fight scenes were always detailed and interesting and the resolution is always clear. I love it. Their story line is usually explained well as usual. The ending was great and enjoyable. Well, Luffy gear 5 was a bit cocky but understandable. I'm still okay with it.

6. Sword Art Online

Sword art online is one of the anime that gives watchers good feeling. Though it was not released this year, I actually started this anime this year. The first season what a very interesting one. Though, the season 2 is also interesting. The season 1 raised the stakes too high for the season 2. Then from the Gun gale Online to the alicization, the bars came up again. The whole storyline was very interesting. How the game world was connected to the real world and all. The graphics is simple, and the character development is amazing. Worth watching 👍.

5. Jigokuraku (Hell's Paradise)

When talking about the hell's paradise. It gave a sense of adventure and competitions among the characters. The storyline is simple. The main thing I liked about this anime is the fight scenes. The way the characters fight are very interesting and fascinating. The graphics is good and the hard way of detecting who will die and not makes it intriguing. I can't wait for season 2.

4. Oshi no ko

Hmmm, coming into the entertainment world. Oshi no ko. At the Episode 1 of this anime. I was wowed due to the amount of plot twists there. A mixture of happiness and sadness. Well, as this anime goes on, the story gets more and more interesting. The storyline is connected and interesting. Well, I can say that this anime is another form of isekai. Very interesting to watch.

3. Blue Lock

You know, I don't really like most sport anime because of their over exertion to playing using some unreal techniques that were very unreal compared to what we normally watched in sports. But kuroko no basket changed my mind a bit due to the interesting storyline and competitions.

When I started this anime. It gave a feeling of unwavering competitions among the members, which made it very interesting to watch. I love the way they arranged the structure of the blue lock game and the impact they made on the players. The character development is also nice. This anime was very interesting to the extent that I began reading the manga. The manga as superb. I can't wait for the next season.

2. Demon Slayer (Swordsmith Village Arc)

Coming to a world full of demons. The demon slayer anime is one of those anime with interesting fights. Though I was this earlier this year, it is still at the back of my mind.

One of the most fascinating thing about this anime is the fight with the upper moon 4. This was one of the fight I rewatched after finishing. The "Hinokami kaguya" style and other style was clear. Well, the upper moon 5 was not that strong for me, so I can say pass on that one. But the upper moon 4 has my respect. There was a point where I thought all hope was lost, but they managed to win. Interesting.

Another thing, the graphics is very clean, the illustrations on the breathing techniques and the fight techniques are too unreal, very pure. Cool. One reason why this will always be in my top list.

1. Jujutsu Kaisen (Shibuya Incident Arc)

And here comes the number one anime on my raking list. Jujutsu Kaisen.

One of the things I loved about this anime is the music. I sing it every time. Because of it, I don't skip the intros. I always play it till the end. Sensational.

Apart from the sweet song. Their fight scenes are top-notch. The domain expansions. From the Gojo in shibuya to Itadori, Nanami and others. Most especially the fight between Sukuna and Mahoraga, the malevolent Kitchen and all. It's very interesting to watch. In terms of graphics, this anime is very clean. one of the reasons why I love this anime is the graphics.

And that comes to the end of my post, I hope you enjoyed it.

Thank you for reading my post.❤️ See you next time 👋.

I haven't watched JJK though it is always been in my radar mainstream animes isn't my thing.

I love you included Blue Lock! I enjoyed the series too and makes me to delve more into the series. Jigokuraku I might give it a try in the future. The rest of the series that you have listed I have watched them all during my free time hehe.

Sword art online is my favourite but only the first season. When I watched it I felt like I also want to enter a gaming world.

There's a few on the list I haven't watched. I recently finished Zom 100 and they managed to finish the season after the production delay, you might want to check it out. I'm surprised you didn't include Frieren on the list.

Oh wow, nice I'll check it out, thanks.

For the Frieren, I haven't watched it. That's why I didn't include it. The ranking was based on the ones I watched last year.

Thanks for the reply and happy new year 🎉.

Oshi no Ko I think is overrated but I little interest to watch them, maybe I check it when my watchlist is left 1. I really like zom 100 and kimetsu no yaiba swordsman village arc, thanks for sharing :)

Well, that was my first thought. But when I later watched it. It was good. Definitely worth the hype. I hope you put it in your watch list.

Sure, zom 100 and Kimetsu are good. No doubt.
