How Can I Stop Doing Bad Things?

There are times we want to do the will of God but bad things will not allow us. Doing the will of God just feels so difficult to us sometimes as believers.

Apostle Paul said here to experience such a thing where that believers are experiencing today, where to do the will of God is so tough. ROMANS 7:20 say that I do what I do not do. Even if I try so hard to take my flesh but sin still dwells in me. This verse the Apostle made it clear that if you understand that he too was always willing to keep doing the right thing. But sometimes his flesh is keeps tempting him to sin.

What this means is that doing the right thing should be on our own. Sometimes we all need the forgiveness of sin in our lives. There is some point we need to spit the sin out of our lives in order to live according to the will of God. Because without removing the sin from our life we cannot do the will of God.

Acts 22:3 says this. This verse also shows that although we try so hard but we need to arise and be baptized and cleanse ourselves from all sins. The Apostle Peter also shows that we need to get washed away from our sins in order to do the will of God. If not we will still be hurt by those sins in order to be able to do the will of God. So this thing should not be personal.

Apostle Paul said in the book of TITUS 3:5 that we walk not by righteousness but what we have done. In this mercy we have been saved. When we wash ourselves from this regeneration and renew ourselves of the Holy Ghost then we might have hope at this moment.

Apostle Paul also showed us the will of God which is forgiving our sins. When we walk with this righteous life, God shows us mercy and we will be renewed through the Holy Ghost. Which means that the Holy Spirit will give us the power to walk with God. By obeying and doing things that align with the will of God in our life.
