Walking in Selabintana Park

Selabintana Park, this park has been around for a long time and was a place for Ducth people to rest when Indonesia was not yet independent. Visitor to the park pay 15.000,- IDR or about less than $1. The air in the park is quite cool, the location of Selabintana Park is at the foot of the mountain.
In the Selabintana Park there are open places planted with green grass with good maintenance, plant large trees such as Resin trees, pine trees, Eucalyptus trees and other types of trees. The open park is used by visitor who bring their families and groups.
Family or group activities are held in the park, to sit in the park, the mother's offer mats visitor to sit on. The park is used for other activities such school children holding quite events in the park.
The water in this place is quite clear because it comes from the mountains, the children look happy playing in the water that flows through the Solokan.
Traders fill the space to sell they sell handicraft souvenirs, children's toy, such as kites, water color painting and other, be sides that there are also food and drink sellers.
Entering the Selabintana Park, next to the large park, this place has facilities for resting in the form of a hotel,meeting place,swimming pool. Selabintana Park was built along time ago. There are rows of old buildings with fairly steep roof slopes, which are still function as hotel.
The old building that still exist is an electrical substation building that is still functioning,near the substation there are flower plant.
Close to the entrance, there is a floating restaurant, visitor can eat in the restaurant while looking at the view.
