To the Power Steering Workshop
Greetings everyone.
Thank you Hive Motors Community. Sharing car service experience to the Power steering Workshop, the workshop location is about 3 kilometers from the residence on the Southern ring road in the Sukabumi area, West Java.
There is a problem with the car I use, the power steering oil is leaking and the front part makes a noise every time the steering wheel is turned, for the power steering problem every time it is filled it always decreases.
One of the workshop that handles power steering and car undercarriage. After arriving at the workshop, the car hood was opened and checked, not long after the workshop employee opened both front wheels.
Tools used to open the wheels, car jacks still use manual tools, remove the power steering rack. Remove the left and right wings, the power steering is cleaned and there are components that are split in the steering house position.
Then in the left and right wings the problem is in the ball joint and other components that are worn out. By the workshop employee, the power steering components replace the seal one set then the split components. Welded to a special welding place, for the components on the car wings.
The ball joint replacement is carried out, the spare part are purchased at the spare parts store. After the power steering is repaired and the left-right wings ball joint is replaced. Then the wings are installed one by one, then the power steering rack is also installed, by the car repair shop employee tested.
And the power steering oil did not leak, and there was no sound when the steering wheel was turned. From the repair shop there is a three month warranty.
The total cost of dismantling and isntallation services and purchasing spare parts is 1.800.000,- IDR or around ($111,11).
