Taman Mini Indonesia Indah

How are you dear friends? Hope all my friends are well. Thank you Wednesdaywalk community by @tattoodjay. This time I walked in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah or abbreviated as TMII was inagurated on April 20,1975.

Taman mini Indonesia indah is Indonesia in a small form that depicts a great Indonesia. Indonesia is indeed big, not only because of it's population, not only it's vast and rich territory, but also it has a long history, great struggles and high culture.

Miniature Indonesia is called Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, which creates indonesia complete with all its contents in miniatur form, so it looks like a small painting in miniature.

Taman mini Indonesia indah(TMII) is approximately 100 hectarses in area, located in Pondok Gede sub-district near the Jagorawi toll road, Jakarta. It is indeed too large to be enjoyed on foot, perhaps to appreciate all the existing building we need to come several times.

Traditional house buildings from all existing provinces, although they may not be exactly the same as those in the area. In its construction, it still remain quality but combined with the latest technique and graphics.

I tried to enter through gate three of Taman mini, but entered through the pedestrian gate. Paying an entrance fee of 25.000,- IDR or ($1,49) per person. The morning air was cool and still looked quite.

The first thing I Saw was Keong emas( golden snail) building, the front garden and yard were quite spacious. A fantastic architectural work with a large dome-shaped dome. This building is the Keong Emas Imax Theater.

Its function is as an educational park and recreation through large-scale shoes with the Imax system. The Imax Theater can accommodate up to 1000 people, in the lobby visitors can enjoy the beauty of ceramic wall paintings depicting the legend of the Keong Emas. The Keong Emas Imax Theater building was inaugurated on April 20,1984.

The main gate of Taman mini Indonesia indah features a monument with the symbol of five keris fused together, and its summit represents a flame. It stands approximately 45 meters tall and has a base radius of approximately 17 meters, it features philosophical figures.

Before entering the ticket check gate, look at the information board about the route and contents within the TMII area. Not far from the entrance, there is a Balinese architectural building, this building is the Indonesia Museum.

The management provides open four- wheeled vehicles for visitors, but it is more comfortable to walk. From the Indonesian Museum, I walked to each provincial pavilion to see the architectural forms of traditional house.

The traditional house of eastern Indonesia, namely Papua islands, is a unique and distinctive traditional house. Many of the tribes in Papua continue the social pattern that strictly separates houses for men, women,and the alderly,and so on.

These houses are grouped together in a fenced environment, creating a protected and safe environment. They are constructed directly on the ground. With some types of houses built on tall poles and others built in trees.

The Province is located east of Bali, namely the islands of Lombok and Sumbawa. On of the province's cultural treasures is its distinctive regional architecture, the Sultan of Sumbawa.

It consists of two floors, the ground floor is for deliberations and traditional ceremonies. While the upper floor serves as his family. What is quite unique is that everyone the low-ceilinged stairs in front must bow,it's like a form of respect.

Indonesian archives, a group of Indonesian islands located in a large lake, surrounded by traditional houses from all region of indonesia.

The are only two traditional houses that I can show as example, and there are many other tradisional houses. Thank you for reading, I hope this is helpful.
