Market Friday : Garut Souvenir

Greetings everyone, how are you friends, hope for good news. Some time ago, I and my group using one bus,picnic to Pangandaran beach. Returning from the picnic, the bus group passed through the city of Garut, after in the city of Garut, the bus parked on Ahmad Yani street, Garut city.

Sukaregang is the name of a place famous for its leather center product. This leather center has been around for a long time, the basic materials for making crafts are from cow hide, buffalo skin and goat skin, through the process.

Leather material Will be Made into products such as leather hackers, leather bags, leather shoes , leather wallets and other leather products. The bus parked and some of the group shopped at leather accessory stores. Along Ahmad Yani street there are places that sell leather goods.

The price of leather craft such as the price of a leather wallet is around 85.000,- IDR around ($5,24 ) to 285.000,- IDR around ($17,59) and that's how the type and quality of the leather. The price of a leather brkt is around 68.000,- around ($1,1) 105.000,- IDR around ($6,48 ),the price of a leather jacket is around 1.000.000,- IDR around ($61,72) and more.

After Sukaregang, the group was then taken to a Snack souvenir shop. Tarogong is the name of a place in Garut city which is famous for its typical Garut Snacks. A large place where dozens of buses can park, the name of the souvenir shop is SBR3.

The facilities are quite complete, such as toilets, places of worship, places to eat. Some of the group shopped for souvenirs, and the typical Garut food souvenirs are dodol, ceprus, wajit, krupuk, and other souvenirs. The price of food souvenirs is relatively cheap, such as the price of dodol at 25.000,-/ kilogram, around ($1,54), there are also other food prices that are cheaper.
