Lontong curry breakfast

Padalarang is the name of an area in west Bandung regency,west Java. Introduction, a few days ago, my friends and I went to the Gedung Sate in Bandung city, west Java for a meeting. The distance we traveled was about 3 hours from Sukabumi city to Bandung city.

Before arriving at our destination we stopped at a stall for breakfast, one of the stalls that provides typical foods such as tofu kupat and lontong curry. Lontong is rice wrapped in banana leaves and then steamed.

Me and five other friends tried breakfast with lontong curry seasoning with additional eggs, there were also other friends lontong curry filled with chicken.

Curry seasoning consists of coconut milk and spices. The taste of lontong curry is savory, spicy and the curry is thick. Kupat tahu 99 Padalarang has been around since 2024, open from 6 am to 12 pm.

In one plate of lontong curry, there is slice lontong, cut tofu, vermicelli,doused in curry sauce and sprinkle fried onions on top.

The price of one portion of lontong curry egg is 21.000,- IDR or ($1,29 ), lontong curry chicken cost 25.000,- around ($1,54 ).

The total amount that must be paid for 6 portion plus crackers is 188.000,- IDR or ($11,60). After finishing breakfast, we left again for Gedung sate which took about 30 minutes to reach out destination.
