Hiking To Cibeureum Waterfall
How are you hive friends, hope you are always healthy. On this occasion, I Will share my experience of hiking to Cibeureum Waterfall on Tuesday 18 June 2024. Cibeureum Waterfall is located on the Mount Gede Pangrango National Park, Sukabumi Regency, West Java.
I went to the waterfall with Son coincidentally they were on holiday. Preparing to go to waterfall bring drinkin water, Snack for the trip to the waterfall and also bring a rain jackets.
Before going to the waterfall location, my children and I brought entrance ticket the Mount Gede Pangrango National Park area this institution manager. This quite extensive forest, the entrance ticket is quite cheap 8000,- IDR for one person around ($0,49).
Ticket seller at open from 8 am and close at 5 pm, after purchasing the ticket, the National Park Officer gave information which was shown on the Mount Gede Pangrango National Park information map.
That the road we were going to take was the climbing route Mount Gede Pangrango including information about the Cibeureum Waterfall which is about 3,5 kilometers with travel time walk for about two hours.
After being given information map, my children and I started hiking at 8 in the morning, the road we passed was a Rocky road. A few hundred meters we walked a long the right side of the road, there was a river that Made a sound in the middle of a quite atmosphere, the river lots of rock and clear water.
On the way to Cibeureum Waterfall, left and right there are lots of trees as perennials. Information board are also posted in several places on the road, such as be careful of Wild life, information signs leading to Cibeureum Waterfall.
Occasionally we stop for a moment while catching our breath and breathing in fresh air. A long the road there were many fallen trees some of which blocked the road, the first river we crossed to cross was installed by the management in the form of Stones cast in cement.
We jumped a little to cross the river, then we met the river again with the same thing to cross we had to jump. The condition of the road that is getting more up hill and making Sharp turns.
The road that is passed is still Rocky on the way we came across another large trees that had fallen across the road. After walking for more than an hour, we reach the top of the hill then condition of the road began to narrow, passing several bridges below which there was a natural river.
After crossing the bridge the road was blocked by a fairly large rock that covered the road,located not far from the waterfall. To get through we have to be careful when crossing the covered road and there is a narrow gap to pass through with to help of a fairly strong rope.
A few minutes later we arrived at destination of Cibeureum Waterfall the travel time was around two hours. Tired and tired paid of we can enjoy the beauty of the Cibeureum Waterfall which had a height of around 60 meters.
After arriving at the waterfall area,my children and I rested, then approached the waterfall to take picture. Had time to chat with other hikkers who had just arrived.
Not long after that we started walking home with the same route about an hour and thirty minutes we arrived at the departure post.
