Greetings everyone. Thank you Indonesia Hive community. Approaxching the holy month of ramadhan 1447 H. Residents work together to clean the mosque, cleaning the mosque is an annual tradition in welcoming the month of ramadhan.
The name of the Baiturrahmah mosque is located on Siliwangi street, mutholib Alley, Sukabumi city. This mosque was built by self-help from residents and is a source of pride for local residents.
Cleaning the mosque is a form of respect for the holy month of Ramadhan. Mosque cleaning activities are one of the residents concerns and become a social activity as well as a means of friendship between residents.
If the mosque and its environment are clean, it Will feel comfortable to pray. To clean the mosque, residents were invited to the mosque using a loudspeaker mounted on the dome and through social media platforms like WhatsApp three days before.
Resident arrived one by one, and quite a large number of them attended. They cleaned the front yard, side yard of the mosque, cleaned the toilets, the rainwater, clean the water tank, using a high pressure water spray pump, because there is a lot of mud in the tank.
They trimmed the tops of the trees that looked Messy. Some people climbed on to the roof to clean the dirty Walls, they cleaned the glass, door frames,and the handrails of the mosque, as well as the prayer carpet.
During the mosque cleaning work,snacks, tea, and coffee were provided, donated by local women and after the mosque was finished, the neighborhood association head provided lunch.
