He had been contemplating for a long while since the start of the year. The situation on the department is looking less and less favourable. Coming to work everyday becomes a burden and sucks out all the energy from him.

There is no clear progression plan for his career communicated to him by his supervisors yet he is being asked to cover work beyond his job scope. Where did the promise of promotion suddenly fizzled into? He had been browsing through the internal job portal for weeks in search of a new position within the company and at last something caught his eye and it is something that he wanted.

He muttered to himself, "Your ticket out of here is now before your eyes, what are you waiting for?"

He gave it a quick thought and submitted his resume to apply for this internal transfer and hope he will be granted an interview opportunity.
