After days of not seeing any form of civilization, Park was desperate to reach the border but he has yet to see any signs of fences that identifies that the border is near. When he embarked on this journey, he knew there is no turning back. He has to reach the border no matter how. This is for his freedom from what he had been subjected to all his life.

He made an arrangement with an agent across the other side of the de-militarised zone whom will be receiving him and bringing him to safety. But prior to this, needs to get to the part of the border that is nearest to the other side. Once he caught sight of the fences, he had his heart set towards running towards the other North that he've been dreaming day and night on. The fences are filled with electricity and the only way through it was to have himself insulated. He had a thick pair of rubber gloves which impede his movement a little but that is not going to stop him from overcoming the fence to get to the other side.

Once he crossed over the fence, he just kept running and tried to seek cover in the nearest dense foilage where he met his agent while plenty of shouting from the side he came from, signalling that someone has escaped the country illegally. Park couldn't care. He is now free from that mad titan whom ruled the country he came from and now he is now part of the other North.
