Because of her crazy work habits, always deep into late nights and wanting to reply every email as soon as possible, in view of the concern of her burning out, Mary had the obligation to do nothing today. Her management want her to catch up on rest and just hands off any form of work.

Every single call from colleagues, leadership and all can be ignored. She must not be disturbed and if every timeline that fails will not be blamed on her.

And when she actually finished her breakfast that day, the urge to touch her phone is there. The familiar sense of wanting to do work is there. She even have to use one hand to catch her master hand to ensure she does not touch the phone.

A special day for her but it felt really uneasy. Finally she just settled down on her sofa and just start reflection on how she worked which caused them to make her take this break.
