Border have been closed up with added manpower deployed to ensure round the clock close vigilance. After peace talks held between the leaders of the 2 nations fell through, more artillery shells continue to be fired across the border to "showcase" the strength and military superiority of one over the other. And there is no more correspondence between the 2 nations since that faithful day of the peace talk, the only greeting they had with each others were artillery or drone attacks.

Ever since border tensions built up, this had been the escalation that progressed. Disputes started due to terrorist acts happened in one state which were owned up by a military force group in the other state.

And now, the only way to get things moving will be for other nations to offer themselves as mediators and to facilitate peace talks to ensure this border tension do not further escalate.
