Sometimes I really wonder what is the limit of demands from our bosses or even those that work around us. While most of us in the workplace just want to do what we need to do but there are so many instances that I believe you and I go through - expectations that blow out of hand.

It always felt like you give him an inch, he will demand more than a foot. Recently, there had been too many of such situations. I did my part but I get questioned why I never help to cover responsibilities of others and help guide them along. It set me thinking, the task had already been distributed but why is there expectation of me to cover when the person is supposed to carry out the task assigned to them. Is it truly organizational needs driven or am I supposed to be over extending to cover incompetent individuals.
