Today is a day to commemorate the total giving up on giving feedback to make things better. The workplace is definitely far from perfect and unhappiness looms among the employees. While these reflect the true feelings the ground is experiencing, the survey result came otherwise.

During the town hall meeting, the country manager was really happy to announce to the team that the survey result is 100% and everyone is happy and that the workplace is a great place to work. But when the survey result shows that it is 100%, there was a deeper meaning behind it. A sign of giving up and finding no value in giving feedback to make things better.

Over the years, the result of the survey climbed from 60% till now 100%. When it was far from 100%, many actions and improvement were put in to improve the score. All feedback were given mechanistic response or ended up causing others more work. Hence, the employees are aware, the more feedback they have, the worse it gets.

People now choose to shut up. Commemorate this perfect score with a sad outlook.

Nice piece 100% across all sectors all aspects don’t make statistical sense, there’s no variation, leaders should be worry and not happy.
