David went into an election in an attempt to try to be the new student union chairman. He was campaigning for it for quite a while and ensured he shakes hand with everyone he meets at the alleyway or in the cafeteria.

Right up to the day of election, he was nervous if he will be able to be able to be elected as his opponent is a strong candidate whom had strong backing by a few of the larger student groups in school.

Finally when the results was announced, David was elected as the new union chairman! He was glad and this is certainly something that he can brag about it for a long time as he overcome the odds that were staked against him and secured victory.
