A wild path!

Hello friends of this wonderful community,

Today, I am here to share this post and these photos that I took yesterday. I went for my usual walk along the Berica Riviera, near the Berici Hills, places that I am very fond of and enjoy exploring with long walks.

Starting from Lumignano, a charming village located at the foot of the Berici Hills, I covered about 8 kilometers with an elevation gain of about 300 meters, taking approximately two hours. I don't walk particularly fast because I like to stop from time to time to admire nature and take some photos to share with you here.

I started from the Church of Lumignano and took a dirt road that ventured into nature. Right away, I noticed some beautiful flowers along the path, although I'm not an expert and I don't know their names, but someone suggested using an app to identify them. This trail, like others I have walked in the past, is very wild. After just 500 meters, I noticed wooden sculptures along the path. I don't know who created them, but they are truly beautiful. Shortly after, the trail narrowed, and I even encountered trees obstructing the path. In the distance, I caught a glimpse of caves, which I believe I have shown you in some photos. It was common to find these caves here since ancient times, although I don't understand why someone placed a cross inside. The path was crossed by a small stream due to the recent rains, so there was a lot of moisture, and everything was wet. I continued my journey, and at times, I must say, it almost felt like being in the Amazon for the wild beauty of this place, which is quite rare in these areas.

I couldn't capture the landscape as I did on previous occasions since I didn't reach very high altitudes. I was a bit tired yesterday, and the weather was uncertain, with the forecast of thunderstorms. I preferred to avoid a lengthy route because I would have surely encountered heavy rain. However, even on this path, I discovered detours that seemed new to me, albeit poorly maintained. From a naturalistic point of view, they were very fascinating. I'm really happy that there are such wild trails because lately, with the proliferation of urbanization, it's almost rare to find similar environments.

In the end, I took the path that led me back to the Church of Lumignano, where I had parked the car. I must say that I wasn't very satisfied with the photos I took this time, as unlike other occasions, I didn't come across anything particularly interesting. But I think that when exploring these places, one must learn to appreciate everything and not always expect to find waterfalls or breathtaking views. In this case, I can say that what struck me about this route was its winding path through a wild landscape that, thanks to the humidity, strongly resembled the areas of the Amazon.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for dedicating your time to read this post, and I genuinely hope that the photos have sparked your appreciation. It has been a pleasure to share this adventure with you, and I am delighted to have been able to show you a glimpse of the beauty I was fortunate to experience. I look forward to sharing more adventures with you, so I invite you to stay connected to discover new places, emotions, and extraordinary experiences together!

I bid you farewell with enthusiasm and say goodbye to all of you!

More than anything else, when you go to these places, you have to be a little careful because there are many wild animals, including wild boars, which are quite aggressive.

I also went to a cave earlier today. And that entrance of the cave in your picture looks very similar to what I explored.😀

I love the flowers and I found the wooden sculpture entertaining.

You must have a good walk with nature sir.🤗
