NFL y automovilismo (SPA-ENG)
LLegó el día tan ansiado por toda la afición que gusta del football americano, la gran final conocida mundialmente como el Super Bowl que enfrenta al campeón de la conferencia nacional contra el campeón de la conferencia americana luego de una extenuante temporada y los playoffs subsiguientes.
Será un evento a desarrollarse en Santa Clara, California, un show que es el más visto en toda la nación americana, pero también seguido en todo el mundo por millones de personas que aprecian un buen espectáculo, aunque no sepan demasiado de reglas y estrategias del juego.
Se enfrentan en el Super Bowl XL un equipo sorpresa, los patriotas de Nueva Inglaterra, que de esta manera regresan a los primeros planos luego de unos años oscuros donde la partida de su estrella más rutilante, Tom Brady, golpeó demasiado duro en un equipo que fue haciéndose dependiente de su virtuosismo y que se quedó vacío de ideas, de creencias y de juego. Pero como no hay mal que dure 100 años, está de regreso aunque nadie esperaba que fuera tan pronto luego de esas temporadas donde el rumbo estaba perdido.Por el otro cuadro, el favorito de muchos, el equipo de los Halcones Marinos de Seattle, que fue construyendo en cada fecha una imagen de superioridad, algo que venía insinuándose en las últimas temporadas.
Los patriotas irán por su séptimo título para desempatar con los acereros de Pittsburgh, ambos los máximos ganadores del trofeo con 6 conquistas, los halcones marinos de Seattle buscarán su segundo título luego del conseguido en el 2014.
Veremos esta noche qué ocurre y quién se queda con el preciado trofeo, mi corazón está con los patriotas, la razón con los halcones marinos.
En el título de este artículo mencioné al automovilismo, se trata de la Fórmula 1 específicamente y debido a que durante el encuentro entre patriotas y halcones marinos se exhibirá una publicidad de Cadillac mostrando el diseño del auto que pilotarán Valtteri Bottas y Sergio "Checo" Pérez, con la sorpresa de Colton Herta, habitual participante de la IndyCar, como piloto de pruebas.
El equipo estadounidense es respaldado por General Motors y aprovechará la enorme audiencia del Super Bowl para posicionar de una espectacular manera su primera participación en la principal categoría del automovilismo de competencia mundial. Combinación de deporte, entretenimiento y marketing para atraer no solo seguidores en la dura temporada de la F1 que se avecina, sino también impulsar ventas y excitar el mercado, algo en lo que los norteamericanos destacan especialmente.
No me pierdo este espectáculo y aunque el show del medio tiempo no trae artistas de mi agrado, no quedará otra que verlo también.

The day so eagerly awaited by all American football fans has arrived: the grand final, known worldwide as the Super Bowl, pitting the champion of the National Conference against the champion of the American Conference after a grueling season and subsequent playoffs.
This event will take place in Santa Clara, California, a show that is the most-watched in the United States, but also followed worldwide by millions of people who appreciate a good spectacle, even if they don't know much about the rules and strategies of the game.
Facing off in Super Bowl XL is a surprise team, the New England Patriots, who thus return to prominence after a few dark years in which the departure of their most dazzling star, Tom Brady, hit hard a team that became dependent on his virtuosity and was left devoid of ideas, beliefs, and a cohesive game plan. But as they say, nothing lasts forever, and they're back, although no one expected it to be so soon after those seasons where they seemed lost. On the other side, the favorite of many, the Seattle Seahawks, have been building an image of superiority with each game, something that had been hinted at in recent seasons.
The Patriots will be going for their seventh title to break the tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers, both of the most successful teams with six championships each. The Seattle Seahawks will be looking for their second title after winning it in 2014.
We'll see what happens tonight and who takes home the coveted trophy. My heart is with the Patriots, but my head is with the Seahawks.
In the title of this article, I mentioned motorsports, specifically Formula 1, because during the game between the Patriots and the Seahawks, a Cadillac advertisement will be shown featuring the design of the car that Valtteri Bottas and Sergio "Checo" Pérez will drive, with the surprise addition of Colton Herta, a regular IndyCar driver, as a test driver.
The American team is backed by General Motors and will take advantage of the Super Bowl's enormous audience to spectacularly position its first participation in the premier category of global motorsport. It's a combination of sport, entertainment, and marketing to attract not only fans for the tough F1 season ahead but also to boost sales and excite the market, something the Americans particularly excel at.
I won't miss this spectacle, and even though the halftime show doesn't feature artists I particularly like, I'll have no choice but to watch it anyway.
