This is a real time-travel art for me and I love the memories it brings back. Ever since I came across it on Pinterest, I knew I have to create mine.

Este es un arte de viaje en el tiempo para mí y me encantan los recuerdos que me trae de vuelta. Desde que lo encontré en Pinterest, supe que tenía que crear el mío.

This type of water tank system is almost in extinction thanks to civilization but it’ll be nice to preserve some visual representation so generations to come would know what the struggle to get water really feels like back in the days.

Este tipo de sistema de tanque de agua está casi en extinción gracias a la civilización, pero será bueno preservar alguna representación visual para que las generaciones venideras sepan cómo se siente realmente la lucha por conseguir agua en aquellos días.

I was opportune to see it just few times while I was very little. But because I was of age to fetch water from the well, the wooden lever had been detached so we fetched with our hands directly from the water.
It’s still in some rural areas I guess.

Tuve la oportunidad de verlo solo unas pocas veces cuando era muy pequeño. Pero como yo era mayor de edad para buscar agua del pozo, la palanca de madera se había desprendido, así que la codimos con las manos directamente del agua.

I used my 6h pencil to sketch out the system. Used ruler to make it straight and even so I’ll use freehand on it later.

Painted the water tank first. With my pastel pencil, brush and ash. No much blending because it’s a brick well and then I moved on to the poles.

Primero pinté el tanque de agua. Con mi lápiz pastel, pincel y ceniza. No hay mucha mezcla porque es un pozo de ladrillo y luego pasé a los postes.

They are wooden poles so brown is good. I painted the two standing poles in different wood pattern. And the cross pole plain kind off. Also painted the rope and container.

Son postes de madera, así que el marrón es bueno. Pinté los dos postes de pie con un patrón de madera diferente. Y el polo cruzado está un poco apagado. También pintó la cuerda y el contenedor.

Then I painted the floor brown also to have that ground look. Before shading the shadows and cutting the paper off.
