YOUR LOVE
Right now I’m listening to the song I’m about to share with you all. Interestingly, this song just joined my playlist today but I’m totally drawn to the lyrics. So without further ado, let’s find out what I have for you all today. I’m not sure what situation you might be in at the moment. I’m not sure of your hidden pain. Neither do I know what your victories are. Or that one goodness you’ve received today or all your years on this earth. But I know one thing. The one that has made us love us beyond what we can ever comprehend.
Some days I just try to feel entitled or think that I don’t deserve some things that I have faced in this life but the truth is, I don’t have a say in all of that. All I’m entitled to do is be grateful. Life hasn’t been the best for me but I know I’m enjoying so much goodness from God and I know just a glimpse of how much he loves me and I’m always amazed. Since I chose to stop feeling entitled or think God owes me something or even those around me, my live has improved immensely and it has only made me open my eyes to all the goodness that I is around me even in the midst of chaos.
I know that I haven’t experienced anything close to what you might have experienced in this life but trust me, when Christ said we should stop worrying, he only gave us a free ticket to be happy. Funny thing is, life always tend to give us a reason to be worried and anxious about things but then there is Jesus telling us to not worry about anything and it doesn’t make sense to us. But here is the thing, he is the one that knows all things and then he tells us to not worry even when he knows that life is giving us every reason to be worried, so why not just trust him?
He loves us. He loves ME! I mean, he knows me by my name. These days, I like to see challenges as opportunities for God to be glorified in me. I know it’s going to be hard but knowing that he knows what I’m going through even before I got here, it’s a great comfort for me. Sometimes, I talk about my challenges not because I want people to think I’m losing faith. I’m telling you because I want you to see it when God comes through for me. I have been nothing without God’s love and grace.
Sometimes I look back and I just feel lost because I wonder how I got this far. I mean I was there yesterday and now I’m here, how? I remember how yesterday seemed like it wasn’t going anywhere but then, here I am. Please if it’s not the love of God and his grace, what is it? It is YOUR LOVE, God’s love! It’s so evident and undeniable. Listening to this song will remind you of that and I hope you let it flow through you. God doesn’t owe me anything but then, he always showers me with his love like he owes me something. All I can do is praise him and be grateful.
