THE UNEXPECTED VISITOR

Interesting how I always forget how awesome I feel once I fall sick. It happens seldomly but then, I still struggle to remember how it feels like not to be sick once I’m sick. I thought the two days holiday will be days for me to revise some of the things I have been taught so far in school. Little did I know that life has other plans for me. The good news is that I didn’t feel cold neither did my appetite dropped but I was definitely not feeling my best self.

I woke up that morning to a sore throat and watery nose. I felt really uncomfortable and restless, feeling sad that I was feeling unwell. I struggled to get a good rest that day. I finally went out to get some vitamins because I knew I was lacking some but then, I needed more than just vitamins so I had to wait until the day after to visit the pharmacy to get some medications to treat malaria as recommended by a pharmacist. I was worried because I feared that this illness might prolong to when we resume from the short break and that might make things harder for me.

So, we resumed today and unfortunately for me, we had classes from morning to evening. I could not attend the first class and even more unfortunately, the lecturer for that first class took his continuous assessment. I managed to prepare for the other classes and fortunately for me, I was able to talk to my class representative so he allowed me to write down my name on the attendance record since I was still able to force myself to school even in my state. I was able to attend the other two classes today but I wasn’t really able to learn from the last one because at that time, I was already feeling tired and needed to rest.

Surprisingly, it rained and that made things even tougher for me. I felt a bit feverish before I got home but I felt a little better the moment I ate and used my medications. I stayed up to do some little things and then retired to my bed immediately. I couldn’t sleep for long because there was a continuous disturbance from my environment. Well, I woke up and made this post, after which I will start working on the assignment given to us which we have to submit by tomorrow as part of the continuous assessment.

By the way, I’m way better than I was now than the last two days. Hopefully I will feel even better by tomorrow.

Thanks for listening to my rant of the past two days of my life. ❤️

Oh Chim! My baby.😭😭
No one likes to fall sick. I hate falling sick. I start to think about the times I was strong and able to do things. I’m sorry you had to deal with sore throat and watery nose.

Thank God you’re better now.❤️

Your baby is way better now. 🤭
For real, feeling sick robs you of the feeling of those times you were feeling healthy.

Thank God o. 🥰
