THE CREATOR’S PLAN VS. HUMAN MINDS

Seeing this question, I felt a little bit fascinated and that is because I read a lot of meaning to this. But most especially, it has once again proven that God’s word is truth. As humans, it has always been an habit to hear the truth but still want to look away from it. Let’s say someone tells me, Hope, you should ace all your exams this semester and then another person comes to tell me that, no, I don’t have to work hard to be a diligent student. Now I have two options. That’s how it has always been and that is how it will remain because God has given every one of us the freedom of making the choice. I can choose to still remain studious and ace all my papers or accept the idea that it is not necessary.

The matter of human population growing is something that the Bible speaks about so I won’t just say things based on what I think but based on God’s words. In the beginning, after God has created everything, he made man and after, he made woman. One of the most powerful command he gave to them was to go and multiple the earth. But interestingly, this is one thing a lot of persons are trying to manage now. In fact, there are some places where this is even becoming a thing now. People use so many birth control methods to avoid getting pregnant but we have come to see that these methods don’t work all the time and that is because it is not in us to decide how large the population should be.

But if there is one thing I know God hates so much, it is SIN. We see so many people engage in premarital sex and think they can mock God. It is our sin to satisfy our temporary pleasures and desires that has gotten us to where we are today. We want to enjoy the pleasure that is meant for those who are married without being married. If we take a statistic of those who have children, we will realize that most children were born by unmarried people. There might be exceptions but then, it is most times due to sin that our population is growing uncontrollably.

So for today’s Hivelearners topic, POPULATION, we are asked a few questions which I will give my responses to. So let’s get to it.

Should the Government provide incentives to encourage families from having only a certain number of children?

Whether the Government chooses to give incentives to people, I believe it still won’t stop us from not doing the wrong things. Maybe they might stop giving birth to children but that will mean there will be high rate of death through abortions because people will still want to satisfy their sexual desires. As long as humans refuse to do the right things, they will always reap what they sow. All I have to say is that, we all will give account of our lives in the end and we will be rewarded according to what we have done. This might only work if there is a strong rule against abortion too.

Will this be a good thing for the population?

Yes, it will be a good thing if people will take incentives to do the right thing.

What will be the effects of such a choice in the long run?

Well, sadly like I said, this method might solve the problem of population but it might as well lead to another problem. Let’s say people accept these incentives, what will happen when it runs out? Or when the Government chooses to stop giving out incentives? People will obviously become more sinful than before and more atrocities will be reported. The truth is, as long as people don’t even know God or accept him, we will continue to have complaints about different things. And continue to make abnormalities normal.

The only solution to this problem is to do the right thing. Every action we take has a reaction which are the consequences. Our population will keep on increasing no matter what we try to do because we are more focused on the periphery and not the root causes. Humans (children) are God’s gift to earth, we shouldn’t make it the other way around because of our actions. Well, if you still choose to do what you want, it’s fine but know that there is a day for harvest when you reap what you have sown. You will definitely get your rewards and I will too.
