SOME THINGS I FOUND TO BE COMPLEX ON HIVE

Before I joined Hive, I was very hesitant because I was worried that I might not get to adjust quickly to the system but then that same thought also propelled me to join and learn almost immediately. I was curious about almost everything that I came across, I'm sure the person that brought me here almost got tired of me because of my curiosity but then I also learned to learn things myself and just ask questions when it gets harder.

Due to the fact that I was so curious then, I got to learn quite a lot of things about how hive works quickly and I even got to be a part of the newbies initiative too, so everything was just in place. But in all of these, there were some things that took me a longer time to understand and even start using on hive because I saw then as too complex.

One of those things is how I could use hive keychain to make a lot of things easier for me. I saw so many links that I wish to access but then I was always referred to keychain browser which I didn't like because I thought it was hard to get logged in. When I finally logged in, I saw that everything became easy because since I logged in with my master key, all I have to do with any transaction is click on confirm and it will be done.

But using keychain wasn't even the main thing that took me time, what took me time to make use of was how to swap from hive to swaphive. It took me a year and some months to completely understand how beeswap works and when I learnt how it works, it wasn't so hard after all. All I had to do was input the beeswap link to my keychain browser and then login to it, the rest were easy peasy.

I was able to Learn how to do this from someone that joined hive some months after I did. He took his time to explain things to me through voice note and screenshots. He explained it to the simplest form and I was able to get it at a go. Now I make a lot of transactions on the blockchain myself and I even teach it to others too.

I've heard some people say hive is a complicated place to be but that is not so true because as long as you are ready to learn it won't be so hard for you to get some of these things we see as being technical, you just have to know it takes time sometimes. Hive is a school of it's own and if you want to stay long here, you have to be ready to learn and explore things here without even being told and if you are lucky enough to have someone who is ready to teach you, then that's even better.

One way you can keep striving on hive is by always asking questions and never giving up on knowing about anything here that made you curious because that might just be what would help your journey through and might even be a stepping stone to the next phase of your journey here. As they say, it's the knowledge you have about something that sets you apart from the other person, so don't stop learning!
