You know that feeling you get when you know that doing something is the only thing worth doing at a point but somehow you still try to ignore it? That was the exact feeling I had when I first heard this song I’ll be sharing with us today. I ignored listening to this song for a long time until I finally did and it is now one of my most played songs. So, as you or some of you already know, it’s already becoming an habit of mine to share or make a song review at least once a week and it’s been one week ago since my last song review/recommendation. For this week, I’ll still like to stay in the gospel/worship genre because I have recently found a new love with this song and I’m very sure someone out there will appreciate also having it on their playlist if they haven’t yet.

OMEMMA-LIVE BY CHANDLER MOORE

I have always thought of Chandler Moore to be an American gospel artist (which he is, lol) until I heard this song that he recently released titled Omemma. I became skeptical if he was truly an American or maybe he has his root in African too. Well, I was surprised to know that he as completely an American citizen. He sang the omemma (an Igbo language here in Nigeria) so well and from one of his posts he made about the song, he mentioned that he was dedicating the song to his African brothers and sisters because they always show him so much love.

Omemma means The God Who Does Good. “Omemma” a word to praise God showing his majesty and goodness upon his creations. This song is one song that I believe will get anyone interested to want to listen to it. So, if you want to praise God for all he has done, what he is doing and what he will do for you, this is a perfect song to sing of his goodness upon your life. God has been so good to us even when we don’t believe in him. Even when we doubt him. Despite our disobedience, he still also find a way to draw us closer to himself because he loves us so much and he doesn’t want us to be lost and that is why he could leave the ninety nine just for the one.

You know one beautiful thing I love about serving God, there are numerous reasons why I love him but one of the major reasons is because he first loved me and chose me. Even while I was yet a sinner and a lost person, he knew my name and he even called me his own. Can anyone tell me what is more beautiful than that? I know how many times I have disappointed those people around me and how many times they have disappointed me too but even when I disappointed God, he never left me alone to die, he still made a way of escape for me! I mean, he left the ninety nine just for the one. He is a good God indeed and he always does good.
