MY EXPERIENCE WITH BUYING
Making purchase is something that we are all bound to do at different times of our lives, it's part of us. We can either make a purchase for ourselves or for someone. While making these purchases, the major aim and wish is that whatever we are buying is something that is durable except some cases when we intentionally go for something that's not durable just to save cost.
I wouldn't say I'm good when it comes to purchasing the best of items but then most times I've been lucky to make the best choices when it comes to buying. I recall purchasing a back bag some months ago at a very cheap rate. At first I was worried that it was too cheap but then it was the exact money I had then so I couldn't go for something that seemed better.
It wasn't as if I was actually planning on going for the best. Then I was running an academic program so I needed a back bag to put my books inside since I was carrying an hand bag which wasn't completely comfortable for me. I just happened to come across this lady who was selling some things by the roadside to where I lived. I was planning on taking a bus to the house but for some reason I felt reluctant.
The sun was really out to get me that day but I was just so persistent that day. And just when I was about using the cash that was with me to get something else, I saw a back bag in this ladies shop some few metres away. I had to just keep going until I got there. I priced the back bag and when I saw it was something that I could afford at that instance, I quickly purchased it with so much joy that I even forgot how tired I was.
I just needed something that would last me for just the program and nothing more, so the back bag came in very handy and surprisingly, even after my program I still make good use of the back bag. For me, it was a really good purchase especially when I look at how much I bought it. I actually got the back bag for less than $1.
There was also a time when I needed a footwear because the one I was wearing just got bad while I was on my way home in the evening coming back from a church gathering. I was not having so much that evening, what I had in my bank account was saved for transportation for that week but I somehow ended up getting this particular footwear out of desperation.
The footwear was just like every random wears but I bought it quite expensive. I didn't care then, I was just happy that I could at least go home in something comfortable and not walking on my bare feet. When I got home that day, I told my roommate of what happened and how I had to get a new footwear. The first thing she asked me was how much I got the foot wear. I was a bit ashamed to tell her because I also knew it was a waste.
Now I can only wear that foot wear in the house and around the compound. I regretted not getting something that I could use more frequently because I went out a lot. Well, in all, these two situations thought me some really interesting lessons that I'd always have in mind.
From the first experience, I learned that it is good that we always listen to what our mind tells us. If for some reason I didn't walk home that day, I'm sure I won't have gotten a back bag or even if I did I wouldn't have gotten something that would have been affordable and durable. Since the day I got the bag from that lady it was as if she moved to a new place because I never saw her there till I finished my program.
And from the second experience, I learned that we should be patient. It wasn't as if I didn't had another footwear at home but I just couldn't get myself to walk on barefoot. Buying something in a hurry hardly ever goes well for me and that incident reminded me of that.

Buying a bag in $1 means huge. I think it's hard to find a bag in so cheap price. I wish to buy a bag also in that price.
In case of shoes it's indeed a loss but I think it was a lesson for you and you won't repeat the same thing for the second time.
The another thing I must say that you have designed the pictures very well and that also catched to my attention. Did you turn any kind of course of Canva or did you pay for canva pro? I am actually curious.
Yeah, I was surprised to have seen a beautiful bag and portable at such price, I doubt of I'd ever see something like that again.
I'm going to make sure I don't make that same mistake again, that money would have gone for other important things, well, thank God it's already in the past now.

That's right, buying something in haste is never good, it only takes the grace of God that you might end up feeling happy you bought something in a hurry.

You learned important lessons from the two experience and one thing I learned a long time ago about purchasing items is that a cheap item doesn't mean the value is poor as well.
Some quality products can be found cheap on a good day but people look down on things because of the price and they end up buying poor quality with huge fee.
Yeah, there are people that think only the experience things are good but that's not true at all because almost all through my life I've purchased things at a low cost that end up better than someone who went for the costly one.
I've learnt my lessons and I hope I don't make the same mistake twice 😂
You know some times, what we think it won't be good for us end is been good and what we think will be good will end up disappointing us. I have the same issues here.

Yeah, and that's why it's good to always have a reason for purchasing something so you can go for what you want whether or not it's expensive or cheap, what matters is you know the worth for the purpose for which you are buying it.

When purchasing something, one needs to be patient. Just like I said in my post, buying items is on luck as you may find some good especially when you never imagined the less cost of it. In all, let's follow the leading of our minds and not be in a hurry some other days.

I remember buying a bag for almost $30 in the US and when I told my friends they said I wasted my money.😂 funny thing is, I’ve been carrying this bag for almost 2 years and it still looks strong.
If I had bought it in Ghana for a cheaper price I would have wasted more than $30 on many bags by now .
That's right, when we buy some things expensive we might be lucky to use it for a long time and also sometimes too when we get them cheap.
Having a good eye for the things we buy is one thing that is rare and those people with those kind of eyes can get something so expensive but never care because they know what it worths.
You are lucky to have gotten such a bag, I'm very sure by now it would be even more expensive.
