FEW INPUTS MASSIVE GROWTH!

As long as you are ready to learn then it's certain that growth is inevitable - by hopestylist.

Looking at the last topic for this week's Hivelearners featured edition contest only puts a smile on my face and a mind that I'm definitely going to share my little suggestion with the community because they definitely want to grow and that alone makes me proud of the community. Growing a community is never something easy to do but then whenever I look at the community, it just makes me think that running a community is easy but that's obviously not true at all.

I think one thing that has made the Hivelearners community a success so far is the involvement of it's members in almost everything that it does. Also a working team and a good support for the members. Here in the Hivelearners community, effort is appreciated as much as possible and I think that's one thing everyone loves. Doing something and getting a good result and appreciation from it is one thing that boost the morale of the one involved in such a thing.

The community has been doing incredibly well and there is still room for little adjustments and improvements. So in this post, I'd be sharing some few suggestions I think might help the community keep doing even more incredibly. Therefore I urge you to stay glued to this screen so you can read all about my little inputs.

Necessary improvements

As for the things to improve on, the first that came to mind is the featured post promotion. Right now, the way members get to promote their Hivelearners featured post is mainly through the discord channel which is nice but then seeing that we are trying to promote our presence on X (Twitter), I think this can be a great opportunity for the community.

For my suggestion, I think it would be a lot better if featured Post promotion is done mainly on X. For example, just like we do it on discord, after supporting at Least two posts in the community, we go to the featured post promotion channel to say we supported so and so and then we submit our link, but in this case, we go to X and promote our post while mentioning the different members we've supported.

In that tweet, we can make use of the Hivelearners tag or Maybe mention the @ hivelearners account on X so it can be easy for those post to be submitted for curation by those who submit posts for Curation. I know this might be a bit hectic but then I'm confident it would improve our presence on X.

And also, regarding the time for post submission, I think we should learn to keep to our words (we are trying yes but we can do better). Though this is sort of a selfish suggestion but I think it is still sensible. The community has a deadline for every featured edition contest but sometimes it feels like some post are not considered even when it was made within the deadline. The deadline for post submission is 11:59pm but sometimes prominent posts are chosen only from post made far before this time.

I might be wrong and that would even be better. All post before deadline should be considered even though it was made 11:59pm that's what I'm suggesting.

Hitting our next milestone!

Consistency should be appreciated more. It's been almost two years since the Hivelearners featured edition contests started and there has been some really great writers and users that have been quite consistent in their journey with the community. I think by appreciating those kind of users, it would encourage more users to be more active and consistent. The consistency should be both in Contents and engagements because it isn't easy at all.

Topics for concentration

The world keeps evolving everyday and one beautiful thing hive has done for us is giving us people from all over the world and I think it's time we make good advantage of that opportunity. So if there is one area of topic I'd suggest we focus on, it would be on happenings around us, you can call them UPDATES! For the three topics in a week, one of them should be on the different things going on around us in our different locations. It could be anything! Just share what happens around you weekly!

I believe that the more we share what's going on around us, the more everyone gets to learn more about different things happening around the world and stay updated and I believe this will also enhance more engagement in the community as well. Like I said in my previous post, the community is a place for learning so focusing more on topics like that would be great for literally almost everyone!

Nice suggestion made, but concerning the selection of the featured posts, yeah, it is normal for people who make their first attempt to receive curation before those who post close to the deadline because their post gets seen first. With the high number of entries, curation priority is given to post quality.

Thank you 🥰.

Well, I think that's the problem since it's a norm for those prominent authors to get a higher Curation, if only that could be changed then maybe it would be easier to still pick any entry as long as it's within the deadline.

Anyways it's still okay as it is if it can't be adjusted, I was just saying, hehe. Thank you so much for the compliment by the way 🙌
