BEYOND CONVENIENCE
Love is such a beautiful thing if you ask me. Love is not what we most times think it is. It is not just the buying of the most expensive things for that special someone or doing things only when they are convenient for people. Love is seen in the worst times. The hardships. The times when everyone leaves. The time when everyone lies to you and one person keeps telling you the truth even when they know deep down it will hurt you but it’s the best for you. Love is in the forgiveness even when you are not worth forgiving.
If you claim to love someone and that fades off when there is trouble or a difficult situation to handle, then you probably never really loved them. You only loved them because it was convenient for you. When it comes to the question of if love fades when bills come, I believe this shouldn’t even be a hard question to answer. If we truly love people as we claim to, no matter the circumstances we face with them, we will still love them regardless.
Depending on the situations we find ourselves, we can never really tell how much we love someone until it is tested. Most times, we just love people because everything is going so well. The moment things go wrong, we start doubting if we truly love them. And we don’t just end there, we give up loving them. It’s fine to have doubts but the moment we act on those doubts, it only shows the other side of who we are.
Take for instance our parents, no matter how they are unable to provide some of our needs, we still love them regardless and interestingly, that’s when we even love them more because we start looking for ways to be less of a burden to them. And that is what true loving is like. When things get hard, that’s when our love for people is supposed to be stronger but if it’s the opposite, then it means something is wrong.
Bills don’t take away love. Love conquers all things. But if it is conquered by anything, it only means that wasn’t love to begin with. Yes, some say love is foolish but they will never know until they truly love. And this is why we always have to be grateful for situations that test the love we have for people and the ones people have for us. It’s always easy to think we love people when things are going well for us. It will be a different story when we face tough times. And that’s why people start thinking they are busy and that’s why they can’t call or text someone they usually text or call. The truth is, that’s not it.
They were only able to do those things because it was convenient for them before and now that it is no longer convenient, they make excuses. If we can’t love people when it gets hard, it only means our love is conditional and depending on where we find ourselves, that’s what determines the love we have for them.

How I wish our current youth could look beyond these not only look the surface of things how it is thanks for sharing
Yeah. I wish so too. They just don’t know that some things don’t change.
It’s my pleasure
