A TRIP TO MUM'S PLACE

It's already the last day of the month of January and the truth is the month seems to be moving fast but it has been a good month. I started the year with so many expectations and surprisingly I was able to meet up with most of them I had for the month and one of them was visiting my mom with my siblings.

It's been over one year since we last went to visit her so we had to make plans to go see her and spend some time with her. The journey down there was quite a really smooth one to the point I forgot to collect something from my friend 😂. Three days to when we left for my mum's place, I called my friend who was planning her marriage in less than two weeks and she told me she needed me to help her take a waybill to someone for her.

I was happy to help and I agreed to call her out when the vehicle we will be boarding will pass through her town. To cut the long story short, I wasn't able to help her take the waybill because the driver was moving really fast that I didn't even notice when we passed where I should call her to come out. Well, I had to apologise to her because it was on me to an extent and it was an important waybill.

We finally got to my mum's place, we were tired and hungry because we didn't get anything to eat on the road. We spent over a week with my mum and for those days we spent there, four days before we returned back home, I got sick, my mum too. At first it was a sore throat and the next morning it was worst, I could barely do anything and my mum couldn't even worry for herself, she was more focused and getting me back to good health.

After giving me some remedies and my health condition persisted, my mum had to go buy some medications for me and since she was a nurse, she did the treatment by herself and I got a bit better and right now I'm still recovering.

While we were at my mum's place, we went on different outings. At first we went to one popular eatery called Kilimanjaro and the only thing we could get was pizza and the good thing was they were on promo and we bought it at a discount price. While we made our order we just sat down to wait and we took some photos too as we sat down.

When we got home we digged in and we all enjoyed the pizza although I was a bit skeptical that the pizza wasn't going to be tasty but thank God I was wrong, it was worth the money. The second outing we went to was also to an eatery called chicken republic. We had always wanted to try the pot lover's order and we finally did. I didn't completely enjoyed it as I would have wanted but I think that's because I wasn't doing fine.

My siblings enjoyed it very well and that was the major reason why I thought it was just my health condition that made me not to enjoy it well. In all, the outings weren't so fun but they were worthwhile and I'm happy I could spend more time with my siblings. My mum never followed us out because she wasn't really a fan of going out.

My January was good but sadly I'm ending it with a sick body but I'm getting better 🥰. February is definitely going to be a beautiful month because my friend would be getting married and I'm traveling tomorrow to her place to go help her out in any way I can and also get myself prepared for the marriage ceremony. I hope my body don't act up that day though.
