6 Tips To Getting Engaged As A Content Creator

Wait! It's worthy of note that you can't force anyone to come engage with your contents but then there are some really cool ways to get people interested in what you give out and in this blog, I'd be sharing 6 simple tips to get more engagement (comments and upvotes) on your blogs.

The dream of every writer or content creator is getting more people interested in what they do but then most times, we lose sight of our major aim as writers and focus on things that are not so important.

As a blogger, you have to be a good thinker and evaluator. Most times we just write whatever comes to mind and we fail to evaluate what we've written. I've come to realize that so many writers don't find it fun reading what they've written, now the question is, how then can your audience find it fun to read your articles?

As a blogger, You have to watch out for errors or wrong spellings. Reading an article from a writer and noticing some spelling errors is a big turn off for so many readers and the faster you deal with those errors the better it would be for you to get more engagements on your blogs.

Some people make use of grammarly to help them detect their spelling errors and that's not bad at all. But for me, I'd advise that even as you use these error detectors/correctors, you should get use to proofreading your post yourself so you can see these errors yourself and keep learning even as you do so. Why will you write a content and not go through it at least once before clicking on the publish button? You should! And avoid too much editing.

As a blogger, You should be a good reader too. Outside the fact that you get to acquire more knowledge from consuming others contents, you also give them a reason to check out your own blogs and when they see what you write, they might just love coming around all the time when they can. They might not even come around but then, when others see how much you engage with other writers, at one point they would definitely come and check out your own blogs.

As a blogger, learn to use simple grammars that can be understood by your audience. No one will want to engage with an article they find hard to understand and in some rare cases, they might want to come around again but if they find the same thing, you might lose an audience for real. Even when you make use of ambiguous words, the next sentence should do justice to giving your readers a clue of what that word means.

As a blogger, you should know your target audience. I should have said this first but then I've come to realize that we don't get our audience immediately we start our blogging journey. For example, if your target audience are to those people who likes to read ambiguous words which is not the case most times, then you have to be consistent in using those words as it will make them always stop by so they can learn of new words from your articles.

Personally, my target audience is whoever comes across my post and not to just a few set of people and that I always have in mind when creating my contents. Now that I know my target audience, it helps me to know how to present my contents in ways that anyone is welcomed to consume it. But then, there are some articles I write that can channelled to some specific set of people too. Just know your target audience.

As a blogger, make your contents presentable and straight to the point as much as you can. This is the final tip I'd be sharing today. When writing an article, you have to Learn how to make it look very presentable so that people can appreciate your article buildup even though they don't appreciate the article itself. And also learn to not beat around the bush for too long because not everyone is that patient.

These tips are simple but then they have what it takes to make a great blogger and you just have to start putting them into action to see for yourself. I'm glad to share this with you and I hope it helps your blogging journey.

Spelling mistakes happen with me when I type from mobile 😅. I am not used to type from mobile and so it's a very common mistakes. I am still trying to improve it.

Yeah, it happens with every one and that's why we have to take some time to read thoroughly before publishing because those mistakes might cost us a good audience.

I'm sure with time you'd get use to it.

In the time of typing in PC I don't need to focus in keyboard except focusing on screen. But in mobile I need to pay more attention in keyboard rather than what I typed. That's the problem.

You are right, the post should be understandable for all public nothing so professional or boring, is to give an opinion I am not an expert, something I like is to spend time to design, edit the images in a simple program to add your brand makes the person reading your post feel more visually attracted and remember you.

That's a good one too, it works too. Having something vitually presentable is also a part that so many don't take seriously too.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your beautiful contribution 🥰, I'm glad to have you stop by !LUV

Good tips, I would advise not to use links to the same post, you could create subtitles to segment the information, it is even a good practice so that more people can see the content.

So sorry about that, it wasn't a link, it's just a form of highlighting what I want to be seen.

Thank you so much for the advice though 🥰
