Hi community!

The club expects her to arrive in mid-November, and her first match at the Spotify Camp Nou could be on the 22nd or 29th of the same month.

The return of football to the Spotify Camp Nou is getting closer. On October 17th, FC Barcelona received the first occupancy license for phase 1A of the stadium's renovations from the city council. This license allows the first and second tiers of the Tribuna and Gol Sur stands to be occupied, with a capacity of 27,000 people.

However, the Barça board decided that matches will not return to the Spotify Camp Nou until the first occupancy license for phase 1B is obtained, which increases the capacity to 45,000 spectators. The club's new general manager, Manel Del Río, acknowledged in an interview days before the Members' Assembly that returning to the stadium with 27,000 spectators was not sustainable and that it was better to remain at Montjuïc, with a capacity of 50,000, until the license for phase 1B is granted.

If the occupancy permit for phase 1B is granted by mid-November, Hansi Flick's team would return to the Spotify Camp Nou after the next international break. This might be just in time for the match against Athletic Bilbao, scheduled for November 22nd, but it could also happen a week later, when Barça face Alavés. That match is set for November 29th and would coincide with the club's 126th anniversary, so the celebrations could be even bigger.

Before the La Liga match that marks football's return to the Camp Nou, there will be activity on the pitch on November 7th. The club has scheduled an open training session for the first team that day. Barça will play Celta Vigo that weekend, on Sunday, November 9th at 9:00 PM, and Flick preferred that the open training session be on Friday so he could work calmly on Saturday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The club has respected the German coach's wishes, and the timing of the session will also aim to minimize its impact on the first team's preparation plans, as they will have played a Champions League match in Bruges the previous Wednesday.

The capacity will be 27,000 spectators. The training session will serve as a stress test and is a suggestion from the Barcelona Fire Department to check the accessibility of the stadium. In fact, city workers are currently working on the logistics of the training session at the club, and details will be released soon. Ticket prices will be affordable, considering it's a weekday.

See You soon!
