RE: Lowering our Proposal ... for the benefit of Hive

I hope that other projects using DHF funding also see this. For too long, too many projects have treated the DHF as a golden goose, a guarantee, rather than genuine community support.
PeakD (and the old work you lot did on another chain) is the reason so many authors continue to publish onto the chain.
You make the best tools for the best writers, and that is something that I can support.
Letting go of team members is also something that is never easy, but we will no doubt see more of that across the workforce as technology progresses and occupations use that tech more effectively.
Thanks for everything you've done, and what you continue to do.

there had been talk about this for a bit in places but no one project was gonna make a difference... it needs to be a wave of voluntary actions... hopefully the whole community shifting the way they look at things.
Was very fun to see that on the same day we shifted our proposal (sunday) also Ecency project did the same thing and lowered theirs as well. Not sure if any other dominoes fell since then.
I happen to believe the best option is for them to figure out how to do everything they are doing and more with much less... and that may mean embracing more the modern advancements in software development. But that takes some time to figure out as well.
