EMBRACING BIBLICAL INSIGHTS

Living by the leading of the scripture has always been my life, and walking consistently in the light of his word is the secret to total fulfillment in life. The word of God is truth and they that walk by it are engraced for supernatural living. Today, in our world, people find pleasure in profane things and living their lives disregarding the spiritual aspect of the truth thereby meddling themselves profoundly in earthly things, forgetting the calling of the kingdom.

Someone once asked, "How can one live this world, without struggling to live a righteous life?". This was an interesting question and deserves adequate attention. Possibly this should be the same question troubling the mind of most believers of Christ. To answer this question, you need to recognize that "We are saved by grace and not by our own will" Ephesians2:8-9. And so at new birth God gave us a spirit known as the spirit of Righteousness. Therefore having the spirit of righteousness in you, You don't have to struggle to be righteous, You are righteous as long as you set your heart on the things of the kingdom (righteous things).

Now if we turned to the book of 1John3:7; it says that who ever practice righteousness is righteous. Now the word "practice" is not "struggling", rather it is "doing". God has given you his spirit of righteousness during new birth, you can't struggle to live the life of Christ, you can freely live the life of Christ by showing willingness to live like Christ through his divine spirit of Righteousness within you.

Some times I hear people pray this prayer; "God forgive me for I know that the righteousness within me is like a filthy rag", My goodness:) I feel this is a religious mistake, Because the righteousness of God within you can not be like a filthy rag except you having giving your life to Christ yet, then your own kind of righteousness can be seen as a filthy rags.

It is important to know that; on earth, we are not perfect ( that doesn't mean you are not righteous). The flesh fight consistently. And so sometimes we make mistakes, doing somethings that might be against the will of God, or seen to be sinful. In such condition, You can't feel that you are not righteous because the spirit Of righteousness that was given to you at new birth is righteous. So at the the moment, you are only aligning your thoughts with the flesh, yielding to the desires of the flesh. The spirit in you has no direct contact to the flesh, It is your Soul, the original you that has the direct contact to the flesh ( the physical person). Note that man is a tripartite being ( spirit, soul and body) The flesh has no control of it own [ Jeremiah 10:23], It is Soul that aligns with the flesh to perform the doings of the the flesh.

How? By shifting your focus from the word of truth (scripture) and craving lustfully over things of the flesh. know that the flesh has no decision of it own. When your Soul aligns with the flesh shifting from the word of God ( what I mean by shifting from the word of God is; not reasoning according to the word of God) The divine spirit of the righteousness of God in you can not influence or empower your soul at the moments, why? Because you are reasoning according to the flesh. therefore One who walk according to the flesh, does not have the backings of the spirit of God with him and thereby being exposed to terrible afflictions-psalm107:17.

But once you realize yourself and begin to reason according to the word of God, The soul aligns with the spirit of God in you. Note, that the spirit of Righteousness of God in you is always righteous. Now Life flows from the spirit Of God in you to your Soul which affect your mortal body rendering healing which is what people interpret as "Miracle".
