The Problem With Starting Out on Hive

It could be exciting starting out on Hive but there are some common challenges that beginners often face. Hive is a platform where you can write and share content but understanding how to navigate could be challenging and tricky.

Firstly, one of the main problems is the learning curve. A unique blockchain system is being used by Hive for posting and rewarding content which can be confusing if you are new to it. Unlike traditional blogging platforms, you are required to learn about Hive's digital currency and how it affects your posts. At first, this can be overwhelming.

Another challenge is to build your audience. You need to engage with the community in order to gain exposure. This means not just sharing your own content but also engaging with other users by commenting on their posts and participating in discussions. It takes time and effort to build a following, and it can be disheartening not seeing immediate results.

Technical problems can also be an issue. Because the network is decentralized, it functions in a distinct way from mainstream social media websites. This may result in occasional bugs or issues in publishing and organizing your work. It might call for more perseverance and problem-solving abilities.

Lastly, Hive's reward system is different from other platforms. Users earn rewards based on upvotes and engagement, which can be unpredictable. It is important to manage your expectations and understand that building a successful presence on Hive might take time.

In conclusion, getting started on Hive involves learning a new system, building a community, handling technical problems, and getting used to a different reward structure. Although these obstacles may seem overwhelming, you can overcome them and make use of the special advantages of blogging on Hive if you are persistent and actively involved.

Well at least you know what you have to do. Hive does not promote your content for you and so it is up to you. I don't think it should be too easy to earn as that devalues the platform.

You may want to build more of an audience before posting all your good stuff as you can only earn from it once.

Have fun with it and make some friends.

Yes, engagement and consistency are key, but even then it can be challenging.
