There you can create a right path for your business. But if your only motivation in starting a business is to chase money then you are risking the connection

Talking about service, Imagine you just open a small shop where you sell clothes then you notice that you are craving for new fashion and new kinds of clothes and they want a quality and affordable ones which is no more expensive that is close to budgets. You decide to put your energy into getting a quality clothes that is affordable for those around you. Then every day you learn how to greet your customers, asking them about their familes.

Sometimes you just spread out some gifts to their kids around when your customers comes to buy somethin. People come not only because they want to buy from you. They come because you are so caring to them and this what happens when you love to prioritize service and by making connection instead of making profit. Your neighbors can trust you that they believe in you and they can keep coming back because you have built the connection with them.

In contrast now imagine you started the business or because he wants to make you want to make profit and if you open the same bakery you open the same fashion business and you started pushing costs instead because you know only cutting the costs of your clothes and pushing product that people don't want to buy your neighbors will start feeling it and they will sense that you just want them to make direction.

Your reason of making your product cheap is just for them to just pay and so that you make money and it shows that you do not value the community. Instead of being loyal to just your profit you first value. People are not just fools, they can know when you're interested in just their wallet or you're more interested in them having a quality clothes or affordable things to wear.

Sometimes they will take your business elsewhere because you are just all about the profits and money will keep slipping to your fingers because you don't know how to build these connections.

The beauty of starting this service with connection is a win-win. You get to be unique in your communities. You get to be noticed more in your community. Think about when your business needs something and you are the first person that comes to their mind that is why you need to listen to your community. Show them that you care even though you're doing your business.

Put yourself at loss in the expense of communicating or connecting with your neighbors but this try to bring business with connection and friendship also because without connection business cannot thrive.

If you want to start a business or you're planning on growing your own business, don't let that profit get into your head focus on serving people around you and focus on giving value and naturally you begin to make profit and money start coming to you. People start coming to you. The money will follow. You will be something meaningful and business will start well.
