Have you taken any time in your day to just sit down? Maybe while you just wake up sitting on your bed or you're eating breakfast, then you look at the meal in front of you, which is more than just a source of energy for the day. Having a meal on your table is truly a blessing that you should not take for granted.
Do you know that billions of people on earth woke up without knowing what to eat or without having in mind what to eat with no hope either? You think it is an ordinary morning. But do you know it is a privilege that many dream of? So before taking the first bite, make sure you show gratitude to life.
You want to start the day. You are starting the day with an advantage that others do not have. You woke up feeling very healthy. Your mind is clear. Your spirit is strong. You are motivated to start the day. And to that, you have a loving family close to you. You have clothes to wear, shoes to put on, and a roof over your head. Congrats, you are one of the most privileged and blessed persons here on earth.
Life made us realize we focus on things that we don't have and things that is going on instead of things instead of appreciating or showing gratitude for things that we already have and achieved that others have not yet but when you shift this your past perspective and see the abundance god has given to you the privilege the things you have achieved then you will see and find every reason to be grateful.
Those depression those discountment this competition those comparison are what hinders you from showing gratitude for the abundance of things that you have you have the privilege to climb on your bed and sleep peacefully you take a shower you laugh at your loved ones around you they are all alive these are the best gifts not everyone are privileged to have all this some lost their family some didn't have a shelter some become some cannot have a three square me but here here you are you are privileged.
All this kind of thought with you where traffic is very slow or where you are stressed at work, remind yourself of the achievements you have made, you are healthy, you are strong, you are among, you have shelter.All these things are shit that protects you from those negative thoughts there are the one things that lights up your moment.
Gratitude isn't just a nice feeling it's a practice that when you show it every time it comes out from your life and you can shift your mindset to positivity each morning just try before you eat just try to listen it's like three or four things in your mind. Just in your mind you have to write it down maybe it was a favor from someone the previous day or just by going to work smoothly it's a privilege. Write them down if you can, but you can figure out it in your mind. the other time you start noticing that your heart keep letting go of all those words, all those negativity that is holding you down.
So try this tomorrow as you're about to shower or take your breakfast reminisce on the things a moment of blessings things you're able to achieve in life let God gratitude overflow your day and watch how this will take you further.
