This is usually common who are already professionals and founders in their 20's and 30's. They all feel the only ladder to success is by working and burnout their way up there. This idea have made lots of people believe it will result to productivity. Thank thinking that the longer you stay on a particular task, the more efficient you will become.

The reality is that if you keep working in a state of fear, where you lack interest and motivation, filled with anxiety, then you cannot actually be productive to some certain extent. If you don't find a way to enjoy what you do, you can never be productive, and too much time spent on that can lead to burnout.

There is a strong connection between productivity and joy. When we are happy at what we do, we tend to me more creative, solving problems becomes easy for us, and we tend to learn faster. All this is what leads to high quality performance and productivity, which is needed to get the job done perfectly. The aim of this is to ensure higher efficiency, making our well-being a priority and harnessing the full potential of people.

The only way to get it right is to bridge the gap you are having between work and happiness. Here are some few tips to get you through;

  1. You have to always channel your energy to what aligns to your purpose. This guarantees that you are always happy doing what you love and know best.

  2. You have to learn how to be familiar and enjoy the process without focusing too much on what the result might be. Learn to break down your goals into small task that is achieveable with time, and avoid overloading yourself so that it don't look like a stress and you begin to fee like giving up.

  3. Give yourself a break and set out time to do what excites you. You can be working all through the day, sometimes give yourself a break and engage in fun activities. This also helps to boos your productivity.

  4. Busyness does not mean productivity, don't confuse them. Know how to prioritize important task and separate them from the irrelevant ones. This will help you stay focused on what truly matters at moment.
