What is a stronghold?

A stronghold is what you have when the devil has successfully planted a belief system that counters God's plan for your life.

The moment that can be achieved, your battle is no longer against any external enemy. When the devil finish planting this stronghold in our lives, he can go and sleep, and we will use our own hand to destroy ourselves.

As Christians, we overthrow strongholds, thoughts, thinking patterns and fears. Sometimes you hear too much of certain news and it becomes a stronghold. Sometimes you see too much of tragedies and it becomes a stronghold. This strongholds becomes a points through which the enemy can defeat you from inside out.

But the Bible said if we can employ the weapons of our warfare, it will overthrow those things. Meaning that the most important battle a Christian is fighting is mostly on the inside. Somebody can be in church saying amen to prayers, but yet somehow through persistency the person don't longer believe in longevity again.

The devil is very persuasive. He keeps bringing thesame again and again just to make you adjust your belief system and you begin to yield your essence to him. You start wondering may God's plan for me is not actually like this. The devil have succeeded in planting thoughts over the years. When we begin to wage this war, we are fighting the good fight of faith.

If God had determined in heaven will not come to pass, the place that it will be overthrown is in your mind.
