WHEN HEADED IN THE WRONG DIRECTION...

My friend would often say that you can't be headed in the wrong direction and expect to arrive at the right destination, this is so true and the understanding is deeper than what we see on the surface level, personally this is what I have come to understand about life and why it matters if we must produce real result.

it's a new year and every body is up with new resolutions and good looking prospect, making a lots of promises to ourselves, but get on to doing it is a problem, personally I have come to understand also that every body knows what to do, but doing what we know how to do is a major issue that's why it seems the average human being is living a life of mediocrity instead of excellence.

like I said this new year everybody mind is made up on what they want out of the year but doing what is required to achieve that resolution that is were we flop and then at the end of the year we are again filled with regrets, failures, disappointment blaming all that on whatever we think is the problem.

busyness is mostly mistaken for progress, that a person is so busy doing something doesn't mean he or she is making progress, it's like running around in circles, you're busy running but in circle there by not going anywhere at all.

honestly since the year began I have been writing and speaking alot about this, intentional and purposeful living, making meaning out of this life, living life as if we don't have forever having that understanding will keep us on our toe to actually do what is required per time doing the right thing at the right time not doing the right thing at the wrong time or doing the wrong thing at the right time, these won't add up

the basic reason for that is because a lot of people don't really grasp what they actually want out of life, they are clouded with inferiority complex, low self esteem , looking up to whoever they think is better mimicking whatever they feel is right , doing all kinds of crazy thing all of these things look good at first only for them to realise in the later days of thier life that they have wasted time, that's why you see a lot of them at old age totally lost and confused about life and themselves meanwhile they have been all busy during thier prime but never made any tangible progress.

been busy is not the same as making progress, if whatever you're doing is not adding some form of value to you then it is not worth doing, you cannever head in the wrong direction and expect to arrive at a definite direction, it will cost you time, resources, energy to retrace your step and then head in the right direction.

Being busy does not even grantee progress, you can stay busy and not see progress.

And the major reason is procrastination. We keep pushing to tomorrow until we find out that we have boxed ourselves in a corner. The cure is to set a goal, focus on our goals, and work towards achieving the set goals. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

purposeful living, making meaning out of this life, living life as if we don't have forever having that understanding will keep us on our toe to actually do what is required per time.

This is a beautiful way to live, sometimes people spend so much time wasting their prescious time on things that are unnecessary.

You're right. Running up and there doesn't mean we are doing fine. What matters is result not the busyness we engage in daily hoping to feel relevant
