...THE FUTURE || Of Things
Hello everyone, greetings, it's always a pleasure to be part of these amazing family here on hive, been a while but it always feels great to be back home.
for this week's prompt about some scientific invention of a device that can predict the future, that sounds cool, would I love it yes, but then it's will get complicated at some point.
mind you this just my single opinion, there is a beauty in life that only comes from uncertainties, these uncertainties makes you curious because of that you want to do everything to make sure the outcome of your plans are positive, because we hate failing , we hate regrets we always want to thrive hard enough to get the best of anything in life.
if there is a device that can predict the future maybe upto a certain degree of certainty that will give us an edge over making certain mistakes, doing what's appropriate and necessary now, this device would give us a clue a hint sort of the probable outcome and what we ought to do to make that our thoughts or imagination a reality....
but then do you know that we unknowingly have this device implanted in each and everyone one of us, see I strongly believe this, that somehow we humans know the future with some slight degree of certainty, we see this in the life of some genuise, I have heard some predictions some old folks said way back and today its so true and its become a reality, this is to tell you that we humans we have this sense of instincts insight and foresight of things to come, in most case some have the gift of prophecy, but what I'm driving at is the fact that even if there is a device that correctly predict the future some still will not likely do all that is required to fulfill that future.
personally it's not about Knowing the future its about doing what is required to actualize the future, it will be very nice invention to have such machine but I think it will be worthless cause sometimes the main issue is in the act of doing.
for instance there are many talented, gifted persons especially in my country NIGERIA, but the hard truth is there are no support systems, so means or measures for them to actualize thier vision, say like in the field of football there are over millions well gifted individuals but the system in the country won't let them shine, we see favoritism in choosing who plays
or is nominated to be part of the national team, every big man in the country has a slot, whether their persons knows how to play or not will be pushed in, meanwhile the poor guy without help can give up in his career and choose to do something else with his life.
I will end with this it's not about knowing the future but can you really do all that is required to have and live that future???.....

You have said it all, it's not about knowing the future, it's about what you do about the future. The mistake most people make is think that if they know the future, things will automatically fall into place.
yes ooo, even now. most of us are very lazy in doing the things that is required to manifest the future we all want, we want to fly private jet but no willing to put in the effort that makes for that reality
