Staying Healthy Biblically....

Due to recent challenges that I've faced, I just made a promise to myself to not just eat, but to eat healthy. Like being conscious of my eating pattern, cause a lot is tide to how healthy we eat....

This is an aspect to us we don't really pay much attention to Before now I believe you just need to have enough money to be able to afford some very good meals, but no that's wrong, you can afford very healthy meals with very little....

How often do you drink water? Do you check your vitals from time to time, do you go for a walk, a run? Do you exercise often.? All of these matters but most times we seem to pay less attention to our health, untill we are caught up in some doctors report then we began to be mindful of what goes into our system...

Bro Eli was speaking from the book of 3John 1:2...

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

This also points out that its God's good intention that we be in good and perfect health even as our soul propers, he wishes us that, but it's still boils down to us to take responsibility for it, so we live long and fulfill all his promises for our lives

so its really important we be mindful of our health, that its written in scriptures that we be in good health always cause if anything affects our health that will as well affects our entire being...

How well can we work, do other things when our bodies down in health, a popular saying goes...that "health is wealth" but meanwhile a lot of persons have pursue wealth neglecting their health amd in turn when things turns south now spend the wealth they have gotten to maintain health which is a very wrong equation....

Bro Eli narrated that its possible to maintain good health even unto old age citing and making references to Moses in the Bible, he quoted the book of Duetronomy 34:7

Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.

About Moses who has come to a very good old age but still his physical and internal system were still in tact ... means its very possible to live intentional and concious of our health even till old age....

What we don know is that whatever we do now as teenagers will definitely have effect on us when we grow old in time, its all there in the blood stream waiting, so there fore let's be mindful of eating, sleeping and exercising all the time for a healthy lifestyle.
