Saying no to Gender in Equality

You see the world is growing rapidly away from the ancient believes of our fore fathers from the dark ages, you know I grew up hearing tales from my father how his dad had trained only the male folks, not only his dad but it was a general believe in the African culture that training the man was way better compared to training the woman because the woman will be married off to her husband and so there was no need, then training a woman was like wasting money to nature or train a chicken or some domestic animal that soon they will be killed at Christmas or sold off.

I heard stories of my own aunt who stole her father's money and ran off to the city to further her education in accountancy, my aunt was very stubborn and so would not hear what her father was saying that he wouldn't train her in school, meanwhile she was very adamant about going to school, her father did everything including going to a native doctor to make her run mad for stealing his money but that didn't work, so you see how serious the matter was.

I thankGod for civilisation that has brought some enlightenment to us because if not it wouldn't have been possible to end the practice of inequality in the African society, it was almost like a law that says the man is superior to the woman meanwhile God created both of them with same

one time i was watching a documentary of the Williams sisters and how their dad against all odds at the time when racism was high kicked against popular opinion and went on to train his two beautiful girls who then rose up to become the world super stars in the game of Tennis.

last year there was some controversy in our senate house between the senate president and a female senator in the house, this female senator stood her ground and refuse to comply she was restored and compensated the whole bone of contention her is that in the history of the Country's national assemblies a female stood her ground elected to be in the senate and also stood her ground and refuse to compromise

I can go on and on about female occupying some heavy positions in all major government parastatals and ministries not only in the public sector but also in the private sector, the current highest paid banker in Nigeria is a woman, as a matter of fact I am very proud of our very own Ngozi okonjo Iweala who has climbed the corporate ladder to the very top.

it gladden my heart to see women rise up to manned certain positions that seemd impossible some years ago, some parents actually took the bull by the horn to train their female children now they are among the elites of the nation making their parents proud.

I stand strongly against gender inequality because we were all created to shine, to rule, to dominate and conquer doesn't matter if you're a male or female...
