Reflecting on The Goodness Of God.....
I was just on a series of things on my mind when all of a sudden it dawn on me the Goodness of God in my life, like how God has so shown me favor Blessings and mercies in all that I do, you see I was just thinking aloud to myself and I'm just surpised how perfectly everything is playing out ..
You heard that phrase in the Sunday school hymn that says "Count your blessings, Name them one by one // count your blessings see what God has done // count your bless name them one by one and it will surprise you what the lord has done" that line is not just some sweet words to give the believers hope, it's a reality that when you do reflect am6d ponder on the good things God has done in your life it will really surprise how far you have come, what you have achieved and how well you're positioned to advanced towards a greater height in life, gratitude opens your heart up to see more amazing possibilities that awaits you.
While I ponder I reflect on some of my gloomy days like I was in a trench hole, I was disturbed, worried, lost confused everything seemed complicated at that point, tracing a line between then and now, I'm just so grateful to God for the grace to hold up, to keep believing in staying positive through out the storm, you know what, God's word is filled with so many thousands and numerous testament of God's assurance and his ever present help in times of despair and needs, somehow he will always show up right there in the middle of it ... rember what he said in Isaiah 43:2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
These just means it will come, trying times will eventually come but have it at the back of your mind that God got you till the end of it, understand that all that is happening is just a phase of life it will pass. Nothing remains for ever, but how you hold up right there determines how much of a victory you will have, what makes our testimony very profound is how we were able to over come through the blood of the lamb and by the words of our testimonies or proclamation....
While I ponder still it amazes me even more at how God has my best interest at heart, I was just reflecting and I'm here just smiling like , how this all be, you see for real everything that I've asked God he's done it for me, right now I can't think of anything that I've prayed for believing trusting, that God hasn't done for me , I can't point that out, so it fills my heart with the love of God and the fact that he's got my best interest all the times, so I'm not troubled or afraid.....
Right now I'm in another critical points in my life, that I really needs God's intervention to make my dreams and vision all come through like this my heart and God making it come through will be like me living my purpose for life,, all tho the possibility are good, but I'm still skeptical about a lot of things you know, so that is what led me to here on reflecting on the goodness of God In my life.
So here I am wondering how's it gonna be, I'm anxious, lost, skeptical confused will it be will it not and so my mind just raced down memorylane and I'm just smiling like God has never denied me anything I asked of him, like he literally does everything making my Life so perfect right now, and so this gives me more assurance as to the fact that he will surely making come to reality all my dreams and vision for life, I look back and the track record, proofs are just so visible no one can deny these fact, immediately my mind fell on the book of ....Roman's 8:32..
He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
You see! GOD is willing to do everything we ask of him, but if we only ask from a heart of gratitude and thanksgiving reflecting on all his past good deeds, this means we have faith in him that he will never fail us... here's what Phillipines 4:6 says...
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with "THANKSGIVING", let your requests be made known to God
Psalms 103:2 >Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
