LIMITED BY CIRCUMSTANCES

The beauty of life lies in the fact that when there is a knowing then they can be an understanding and when there is an understanding then there can be the perfect application of what was known which is now wisdom, this is the perfect hierarchy of the order of things if you must truly excel in many things whatsoever you desire to venture into....

In 2019 during the rise of covid, I traveled to Delta state to visit a friend and what I planned to be a two weeks visit extended to five months because of the lockdown, so most of what we so in the evening was to go out in the local field and play football, one of these evening I watch them play and honestly speaking i was wowed at the performance, while heading home I discussed this with my friend that why are there so many talented footballers here, particularly a young man that caught my attention, the energy,the precision, accuracy everything was 100%, then my friend answered me and said that such is life, most of them here can't even get support or sponsors to get connections to the national team, now everything is politics and not necessarily a matter of who knows what.

The Factor of God-Fatherism

There is a guy from my state, who from the first day he barbed my hair in such a way that I liked, I told him I would make him my personal barber, even if I travel abroad I will take him with me, he is super talented and knows exactly what he's doing ... imagine spending more than 30 minutes on my hair carefully and diligently navigating my hair with so much precision and care.

But you need to see the state of this guy and you would wonder why such a gifted person who should be working with politicians or men in high places be struggling despite his gifting, just like that player I met at delta there are one thousand and one out there who have what it takes to be serving kings but yet are in such a places that does not befit their status in life...

The God-Fatherism factor is almost a norm now tailored into the fabric of every society, you need to know some one who knows someone that knows someone else who knows another, this is the reality of life, so it's no longer a thing of how competent, experienced or exposed a person is, rather now on the merit bases of who you know...

In as much as I will not overule this factor of creating meaningful relationships, Of course men are the ladder upon whicb climb to the top, that's why you will need to treat everyone with respect and courtesy cause you can never tell, but should that be the ruling bases for competence?....

No body is a fool, somehow everyone is wise and discreet in their own ways

This is a fact that we must all come to terms with, you see the fact that you meet someone doing something maybe not befitting their standard does not mean that person doesn't know what to do better, I use to be, even tho I'm trying to overule that mindset of being a hard critic of human actions, yes people can act foolish because their action at that moment is not wise because they don't know what to do best at that moment, I critise base on the grounds of incompetence, because I believe that in whatever you're doing if there's a better way to do it then why can't you thrive to do better even if all that is needed is not available, but then your dealings should atleast show that if you're given more, you can do more.

However circumstances and situations can deprive a man of his rightful status in life, like my barber and the footballer this guys are really amazing but due to say, lack of necessary connections knowing who knows who they might likely stay in that state for a long time and obviously give up to life's fate....

God-Fatherism is a two-way Thing

Thats why I will always stress the need to build and sustain key strategic relationships, its not a baised thing, in this world you will need people to hold your hand and lead you on a path way to follow, people live life carelessly believing that when the time is right all will fall into place, yes hopefully, but you will soon realise how far time has gone behind you and you will probably be pushed under pressure to now do anything weather it befits or not...

This is Africa and ofcourse there could be many factors in place outside what we know literally, but then engage on all ends so as not to leave anything to chance, cause of you do, you won't have a chance...
