I'm Done with Expectations || However I wish!....

it was JFK who said do not ask what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country....

I know most of us must have found this somehow off the hook, because definitely we have given up, I have given up believing trusting and hoping on the so called politicians to do the right thing even if they know what to do but they won't do it, the whole thing is messed up, ....

yeah I know when it comes to "My Country" I'm supposed to be patriotic and show faith in the common course that unites us together especially in a multi-ethnic, culturally diverse country like ours yet we are united in a common course, I mean my Country is one of the best in the world because you can't truly tell how such a mixed race people are living together as nation.

many countries would have split up and gone separate ways but still we're stuck together, the most annoying part of this is that our leaders are taking all this for granted testing the citizens loyalty beyond extreme, instead of doing everything possible to keep this the way it is they choose not to instead loot funds and fed their big belly ego, pride and selfishness, putting their families first and generations after them.

I am done believing politicians or expecting anything from them I feel this is more like a YOLO lifestyle and I've got to place my priorities right if not end up losing, hoping on something that isn't real

do I have expectations from my country yes, are they the best or worst on earth hell no, every country has their own side of the fight to see that resources are evenly distributed between the people and those in power to avoid manipulation and abuse of power.

you see the only time we get to see feel and touch our politicians face to face is actually during political campaign when they came up to ask for the people's votes, they can say all manner of sweet things just to swoop the people off their feet, promising us heaven and earth, they have given us numerous high hopes and expectations and all what there is and at the end jeopardized those promises.

I expect that my country can fix the insecurity situation in the country i mean its no longer safe to even go to church or mosque as terrorists can now gain access to holy place of worship massacre innocent people for stupid reasons, it hurt me so bad and I wish everyone can be safe and okay...

I expect that my country can provide us with enough infrastructure to stable the economy, to provide the people with everything necessary to thrive, we're hard working in every sense of the word but then the economy isn't favorable that's why many of us run off abroad to seek greener pasture else were, if the government can fix the economy I'll be more than glad and many more of us won't have to die running off to seek safe haven else were.

I expect that my country can be free and transparent with her citizen, a country were the government can think of the people's interest before making any policy in some advance country they'd go with some opinion polls for finalizing on any policy, I expect that this can be done in my country too ....
